My father is here and is very comfortable. He enjoys meeting the residents at concerts and in the dining area. Very caring staff, too.

She has enjoyed all the activities and her new friends. The staff are kind, loving and engaged with the residents. The Director, Activities Director, and caregivers go above and beyond what would normally be expected. I feel inclined to write another review during this time of COVID 19, a pandemic that no one could have predicted or be prepared for. During this time of isolation, it is difficult and depressing for many residents. First and foremost Atria immediately protected their residents health with everything in their power. Then, the challenge of keeping them engaged, connected and happy began. I can not speak highly enough about this team. Their creativity, joy and fun have been contagious to the residents! Thank you for coming in everyday and for loving my mom when I can not be with her. I can not thank you enough!

From the initial sales tour with Suzy through the nurses review and meeting all the aids, I new this was the right place for Mom & Dad. When questions or concerns came up, all I had to do was ask and the team responded with solutions that fit our needs. It is very comforting to know that my parents are in a safe and loving environment, and if they need anything at all, it's just the push of a button away. Now they can live out their golden years in comfort and safety. My sincere thanks to all the people that make up the team at Silver Maples of Chelsea!

This is a FOR PROFIT company that shows they are doing what they can to make as much profit as possible even at the expense of the residents. Even though we've never used it, I do NOT recommend any dependent care unless you want to pay the rent AND pay for private care. We have known families that have their loved one there and because of the lack of supervision they paid the rent and had to hire private care to come into the facility to ensure their safety and give them peace of mind. Good luck with billing. It takes weeks to get items corrected when THEY over bill (and for us it seems to happen every month). I was told they can't send you a rebill when the rent bill is incorrect. Yesterday we gave a check for rent and when asked for a receipt was told it will show up on the ledger (they don't give receipts). Then staff at the front desk proceeded to laugh at me, I don't think they realized I could hear them but quite rude. This place is not cheap (but most in our area aren't) you'd think their billing system would be able to at least give receipts. Rent goes up every year (except 1) and was not told this when she signed the lease. Apparently they were aware of this problem but rent still increases to the tune of 12% in 2022-2023. On the independent side they do have a number of activities and very friendly staff that seems to care for the residents and the director Erin does care about the residents.

StoryPoint gets an A+ from me! Having known several of the staff personally (Catherine Mitchell…read morerocks), there is only one place in Saline I would look for care. Quality, solid customer service, and cleanliness are just a couple of thoughts that jump out to me. If you are looking for lifestyle options, StoryPoint has them all; independent, assisted, or memory care-SP is the place to be. I would highly recommend taking time out of your schedule to tour to see for yourself what makes StoryPoint best in class. 5 STAR!

Of course the transition of moving from her home of many years to an independent living community wasn't the easiest move but she couldn't be happier. And if mama's happy, her kids are happy! I have a long long tale I will not bother to bore you with. I have been absent from Yelp forever. I love Yelping so you know it was not by choice. I was sick, incredibly, horrifically sick. The kind of sick where you get a priest in to see you just in case. Long story short I lost a body part. To paraphrase Beatrix Kiddo to Sophie Fatale in Kill Bill Vol. 1, any body part you lose *will be a part that you miss*. I was flat on my back for over three months and needed rehab for my old lady results as well as navigating my missing bit. I ended up here. Don't ever let this happen to you. You have a choice, make it wisely. In my 30 odd hours here they failed to reattach my wound vac, failed to assist me in care that I needed and allowed some random person to wander into my room and scare the bejesus out of my half unconscious self. The food was worse than any I have ever encountered to boot. Granted I was turfed here on a Friday. It was miserable. Staff eventually got to me and were extremely apologetic but too little too late. Besides the atmosphere alone here is depressing and shabby as heck. TV is like the 70s. The smell is awful, everything is extremely worn and cheap. I wouldn't go back if they paid me. Ever!
