The warmth combined with deep pressure made everything melt. And the scalp massage? Completely mind blowing. I did not realize how much tension I was carrying there until that moment. After the session, they offered water and made checkout easy. Scheduling the next appointment was simple. The therapists were kind, professional, and accommodating. this place should be called "Elbow Circle Massage" to be honest had faith to try a new place through groupon for couples massage (90min) and neither of us really enjoyed it and we're both actually in pain now. I understand sometimes massage makes you sore but this feels like I just got my ass beat. They never asked us what we wanted focus on, never filled out paperwork, which was the first red flag. It felt like they just rubbed each segment of our backs and legs for about 5min straight with their elbows, twice: once over the sheet, again with oil. There was no variety in technique, literally just rubbing each spot in circles with their elbows or hands. I found myself exploring several thoughts during the massage (instead of being immersed with relaxation): "I feel like I could get a better massage from a massage chair than this." "This woman's shoulders must hurt after work cause this has been a straight hour of circles with her shoulder" "I wonder if my partner is having a better experience" "I don't think she actually has a massage license, or she just doesn't care at all." "This feels like a child could do this. I could teach my 6yr old nephew to do this exact technique on me for free." The hot stones were used on us for about 3min max. She did some circles with them of course around my back and legs and then she was done. Then placed a hot towel on my back, wiped the oil off, and then continued to the circles, yet again, over the sheet. They touched the front of us finally for about the last 5-7min of the massage and only did compression on the shoulders, arms and chest. I would have loved if she did more there because that was my target area I wanted, but again, they never bothered to ask us where our target area was. They just give you the standard circle routine they give anyone and everyone. When we were done, nothing was said to us besides "are you okay?" and after we answered, she kept a silence sort of just waiting for the tip and for us to leave. No water was offered, no follow up care really. They were lucky to get a tip from both of us because it was so undeserved. DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU ONLY, AND I MEAN ONLY, WANT TO BE RUBBED IN THE SAME AREA FOR 5-10MIN STRAIGHT WITH ELBOWS THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE 90MIN AND WANT TO BE IN PAIN THE NEXT DAY. read more

It was a really good massage! Very relaxing atmosphere as soon as you walk in. I had an appointment and was seen exactly on time, even a little early. I had a Groupon, but I would gladly pay $130 for the massage I received (90 mins). The hot rocks portion was amazing and super relaxing. I could take or leave the oils. I do wish they spent more time on hands and feet. I would definitely book with them again. Unsure what the other reviews are talking about when it comes to payment and/or tips. The bathrooms were really clean, which is always a plus for these Chinese massage places. The tables were so dirty though. They basically put a paper towel over a cloth table so everybody's germs are spreading. I thought I was gonna get a cold sore or pink eye. also, the couples massage is weird since you are toe to toe instead of next to each other. I wish I could move Alan to a cleaner better facility. As someone who gets a lot of body work, and is a former massage therapist myself, this was one of the worst massages I've ever had. One of the only times I've ever wanted to get off the table and walk out, but I didn't solely because it was a couples massage and I didn't want to disrupt my partner (who apparently got a decent massage). Mine was done by the old woman in charge who was very cranky and obviously hates her job. She used her elbows and just ground into the same spots over and over and over. No variety. It was a very uneducated massage. I wondered if she were even licensed. Was sore upon leaving which is not normal or typical for a massage even when deep tissue. Today I'm in a lot of pain. One of the best massages I had in a while and I purchased using groupon. I asked for a deep tissue massage since I was experiencing SEVERE back pain in my lower back and Alen did an amazing job! After my massage, my back pain was 90% gone. He was massaging my shoulders and I felt so many knots come out it was amazing. My boyfriend had just as great as an experience as I did. His masseuse took out knots he didn't even know he had. He said it felt better than the chiropractor he has been going to. They say that good massages are ones that make you feel sore the next day and I am definitely feeling sore today. Will be going back and highly recommend. However, 2 things I am upset about is that we didn't get the full 90 minute massage. They started us at 6:40PM and then finished us at 8PM. I had my timer on and I hate it when I pay for a service and don't get the full expected time on it. Especially when we tipped, GENEROUSLY. The second thing that disappointed me was that Alen did this massage elbow thing that I really liked, but only on my right side. He forgot to do the same on my left side so I felt a little uneven. Regardless, I would come back again and highly recommend if you are experiencing back pain. JoJo worked me good however if you don't like being worked in one area for a minute as opposed to kneading with constant movement then she may not be for you. What a joke. The guy had no idea what he was doing. I had to ask him for a pillow under my shins when i was on my stomach. The cut out for my face was way too small. I could not breath because the way they covered the hole for my face left no space for air to get in. He spent over 45 minutes on my back doing the same thing over and over again. I finally said that is enough on my back. When i turned over he didnt even dim the light. Trust me this place is not worth it. Summary: Bad setup, mediocre massage, and not worth the pain. I did a walk-in, asked for an hour, and was told I'd have to prepay. When I handed them a card they struggled for a few minutes to figure out how to charge me, and I was told I'd have to pay an extra $3 for using my card. So now the total is $73. Fine, but they also wanted tips upfront despite having done nothing at all. I told them I'd rather pay my total afterwards and give them a tip according to their service at that time. They ended up just charging the card and handing it back. The massage rooms have no ceilings, making all noises echo around. Not to mention the door was left open while I was getting massaged, which was uncomfortable. Throughout the massage my masseuse's phone kept ringing loudly and she kept answering it! She stopped and walked out of the room multiple times. It felt like she wasn't prepared, and she felt the need to yell out at the owner upfront while next to me. I could hear the woman out front watching videos and talking on the phone for a good while as well. They use what seems to be baby oil, and I was wiped down roughly with a cold towel afterwards. Besides that the massage was mediocre. At the end they asked me about tips again, one of them tried to haggle with me, and I wasn't about to be bullied into doing so. As I told them, "I honestly feel like I paid more than the massage was worth given my experience." They were obviously not happy, there was no yelling when we spoke, but we both walked away dissatisfied. And don't bother going there in the evening, they lock the door. Sitting at home I'm in more pain now than before the massage. If this sounds worth +$70 per hour feel free to go there. read more

Weirdest experience ever. Walk in for my appointment after I saw the sign for a combo massage for $40. The spa has a very strange smell to it. Before I go back I was instructed to pay first. There is a sign on the wall listing tip amounts of $20 $30 $40. Very strange to tip before you receive the service. How do I know they're going to do a good job? I declined the $20 tip and tipped 20% instead. I was taken back and soaked my feet in water. She started very gently massaging my feet with lotion. This is where things get weird.. I hear a man come in and is showering in the room next to me. He than starts blow drying his hair. I hear a women come in and they are talking about something.. SO strange to have a showering room in this type of environment? Back to the massage: she starts needing my knots out with her elbow. Felt fine at first but today I am so sore my back is killing me. Overall this was a super weird experience and I wish I would have just paid a little more and went to an actually massage parlor. It doesn't seem like they are licensed massage therapist.
