I've gotten massages with my 6 closest friends all at once. Very nice front desk woman. Someone mentioned being bothered about tipping, I tip and never felt pressured to tip or tip more. Things were ok here. Front desk was kind of rude on the phone and in person. There is a $3 fee for CC transactions. Massage was cut 15 before the 60 minute mark without an explanation. So I would recommend you check your time when they start and finish. They divided our group of 4 into two, but the massage itself wasn't bad just deep hard pressure from my masseuse. Once we finished we had to wait for the rest of our group to be done and there seemed to be to be an issue within the staff, they were arguing loudly and excessively which then caused the front desk clerk to go to the back and join in the yelling. They made passive-aggressive comments, implied we were cheap, and shook their heads repeatedly in disapproval. It was incredibly uncomfortable and disrespectful. I was recommended this place from a friend and finally I was able to call to book a same day appointment. They were able to accommodate me for a one hour massage as I requested at 8pm. Parking was right in front of the door. It was quiet and dimly lit, perfect for a relaxing massage. I had some tension in my neck and shoulders from probably stress and the gym. By this point I felt so stiff without realizing. I was so lucky to have Steven work out all of my knots and I appreciated him asking what pressure I'd like. I said light to medium but if you feel any knots please work them out. Everything about this massage was amazing. I truly needed that and when I left I felt like a new person. And that's EXACTLY what happened. My friend & I came for a session midday. The spa was quiet & inviting, with soft music playing. The receptionist was lovely & full of beautiful smiles. I got a 90 min full body session. My masseur was incredibly intuitive and skillful with strong yet compassionate hands. He used a combination of techniques to loosen & wake up my ol' stiff-n-cranky muscles. I was surprised at how energized I felt afterward. In fact, even when I got home at 9 p.m. to make dinner, I was dancing around the kitchen. My friend loved his session, too. He got foot reflexology and body. Very strong for those of you that like deep tissue. HEADS UP: They will ask for more tip if you don't give enough. I was very thrown off when I gave him a $10 and 4 of the staff pointed to the picture frame with "suggested tips" that reflected more so I gave him more. I see how that makes sense since they're only charging $70 for 90 min and the tip would put it at a $1 per minute (super reasonable) but I thought that was very tacky to ask for more and left a bad taste in my mouth. Honestly one if the best massages either of us have had in a long while. Worked out all the knots and tension points. We got a couples full body deep tissue for 90 min, and left on cloud nine. They listen to what you're looking for and confirm how hard and adjust as needed, the ONLY complaint we had was not the massage it was the ambiance, full animated conversation between the two masseuse for the vast majority of the massage. I'm giving this place a 3 star because you should be prepared to pay the MINIMUM 25% tip, as this is what the masseuse expects after their average service. My masseuse immediately complained of my 20% tip, which she should've been thankful, as the massage wasn't a 10 star rating. I'm not really sure these people are licensed. I managed a massage studio and I had to learn all about massages. The guy who was saved me didn't know how to wrap properly and he was going the wrong way on my temples and didn't seem to have a routine for the full body massage. It was just all over the place. We were taken back to a room never told what to do so we had to go up front and ask cause we didn't want someone walking in on us. Then they never asked what pressure we wanted or why we were even there. The who reason we came was because my neck hurt and now it hurts worse. Didn't actually start the massage until 5:50pm but got done at 6:55pm so don't feel like I got my entire time. She said it starts when I entered the room @ 5:45pm ‍ time wouldn't still add up fully. Just had my first massage there and it was fantastic. Let me preface that there is going to be a language barrier unless you speak mandarin (which I do not) so if you're looking for a place that you can chat about your day or current politics this is not the spot. But if you just use simple English "lighter, harder, good" you'll be fine. I have horrible lower back pain and I just told the lady up front that and that's where I want to focus and my massage therapist just took it from there. I did the 60 min full body for $50. Included hot stone which I was pleasantly surprised with. Also she was able to step all over my back and legs which was exactly what I needed. I generally like a harder massage otherwise it just tickles and I feel like I get nothing out of it. Also don't be cheap and try to tip less than 10. That's hard manual labor and for sure not great on their bodies either so unless you absolutely had a horrible time at least toss them a $10. At $50 an hour you're already getting a deal. Worst service and a terrible massage!!! The first time we went here, the receptionist was really weird. She doesn't really have manners nor says hi to you. My bf wanted to pay for our massage with a card and the receptionist asked him if he has cash. My bf said no and she asks why he doesn't have cash. She was really insistent on him paying cash. It was really odd. Anyways, my massage was really good and my boyfriend's was awful. He said that his masseuse kept massaging painfully on his bones. We decided to give this place another try. Again, the receptionist did not say hi but we were able to check in. We got a full body massage for 90 minutes for $60 per person. My boyfriend's massage this time was really well done. My massage on the other hand was extremely painful. The masseuse was using her full weight on my body with her pointy elbows. A majority of the massage was using her elbows and her full weight. 5-7 times, it was too unbearably painful that I would ask for the pressure to be lighter. She also was leaning on my spine numerous times. It felt like torture. At the end of the massage, I decided to tip my masseuse $10 because I honestly hated my massage but I did not want to leave her without a tip but she then holds up the $10 with the stinkiest face and the receptionist asks if we didn't like the service. My boyfriend tipped his masseuse $20 because he enjoyed his service. He made it clear to them that I didn't like mines. The receptionist kept pointing at the tipping board. They expect min $15 for a 90 min massage. Their range is $15-25+. The entire staff made a whole commotion at the reception desk on our way out with other guests there. It was really embarrassing but I really did not like the service. It seems that they are nice to their weekly customers but treats everyone else like crap. The massage itself is hit or miss so good luck! There is absolutely no consistency in them. If you do go here, make sure you bring at least $15 per person. 40$ special for a 90 minute deep tissue massage?! Wow! The price is hard to beat. We just left the massage parlor and it's increasingly dIfficult to type because I'm so relaxed. I figured I'd get this review done while I'm still feeling tingly!! We booked a week ahead of time for a two person massage. My partner requested a male masseuse and I, a female one. When we arrived we we were promptly greeted and immediately placed in our clean room. For a full body massage you should undress leaving only your underwear on. (Something the front desk lady failed to tell us so we had to ask!) Once we got undressed we were brought a tub of hot water to soak our feet in. And the massage starts! Whenever I needed my lady to go harder I simply asked and she had no problems adjusting her pressure. She even brought out a heated neck pillow and heated eye patches that smelled heavenly! (Almost reminded me of green tea) after that there was hot stones and even a light body scrub so you don't leave with oil everywhere.
