It's a nice salon with friendly staff. I had a gel manicure which was very timely and neatly done. I had the "Herbal Manicure" which includes an arm/hand massage but I think I'll skip it next time just simply because it was on the more expensive side of manicures I've gotten and I don't need the massage part. This is why I've removed a star, just for lack of transparency of costs for services. It would be nice to see a sign or a menu of services and their costs so you know how much to expect to pay before getting to the register. A nice touch was the 5% discount for Mayo/Olmsted employees or for those who pay cash. My last reason for removing a star is because my mom was rushed in her last few minutes of her pedicure because there was another party of people apparently waiting for her and my sisters chairs. Definitely takes away from the relaxation factor when that happens. Otherwise we were overall pleased with the results. My pedicure was very relaxing and she did a wonderful job HOWEVER my stepdaughters nails were horrible. She started crying when we got to the car. I paid $80 and they looked like an 'at home' job and was not at all what she asked for. She showed a picture to the nail tech and was very disappointed with the final product. Her nails were all different lengths, not the shape or color she asked for and the top of her nails were not sanded properly so they were very thick and wavey. We went back in and asked for her to shape them a little better and smooth down the top and make them the same length. The nail tech said that because they put the top coat on she was unable to smooth them down or make them the same length. She offered to take the nails off and refund the money instead of fixing them. We got home and looked up their Facebook and realized that even the pictures they advertised are equality as bad. But Noone has put a negative review. I want it to be known that when getting your nails done, your cuticles should not bleed the top of the nail should be sanded to an even smooth finish and the nails should all be the same length and shape.
