Amanda and her team were great partners on my wedding day, and throughout the planning process. I knew I didn't want to have my family and bridesmaids to have an early morning so I worked with Amanda months leading up to the wedding to create a schedule with 4 stylists - hair & makeup for 9 people (ages ranging from 2 to 99!!). Everyone was professional, creative, calm and FUN - exactly what a bride needs! My hair and makeup trial was truly one of the best days during wedding planning. I felt comfortable to voice any small changes and we worked together to make my perfect look come to life. So I knew I was in great hands for the wedding day itself. Amanda's creativity, talent and dedication to brides is evident. I would recommend her to any bride. I'm so grateful to have had her and the team as part of our wedding team. read more

I highly recommend Amanda as your wedding make-up stylist! She's absolutely the best!! She went above and beyond to ensure the make-up perfectly matched my needs. I showed her a picture of the style, and she exceeded my expectations in bringing it to life. The make-up trial and hair updo were great. Even though I asked her to adjust some changes, Amanda applied all the changes that I wanted for the wedding day. She helped me try different styles, gave advice, and made adjustments whenever I asked. She is also very responsive and very warm and friendly. For the wedding day, She was very professional. This was a really great experience for me and I would recommend Amanda to all my friends and everyone who needs makeup and hairstylist. She is talented and very experienced. I wanted a very natural and elegant look and she did a great job every step of the way. My hair and makeup were both flawless. Thank you so much to Amanda for her wonderful taste. Without a doubt, Amanda played a crucial role in making my wedding day unforgettable. I cannot express how much I appreciate her dedication and skills. If you're looking for a phenomenal make-up and hair stylist, Amanda is the best one!! read more

Amanda is so much fun to work with! She really made the most of our trial (pictured) to ensure she knew the best way to make me shine on my big day. I was so pleased that she not only was understanding of my sensitive eyes and skin, but also knowledgeable on how to handle all the different reactions I had to differing products (e.g. individual lashes vs a strip, something I never considered). I remember worrying that the airbrush would get on my clothes but she's truly got a steady hand, not a mark on my shirt either time! I'm also not familiar with makeup in general, and really appreciated that she seemed to genuinely enjoy the freedom of designing a look for me based on her expert opinion. She also coordinated very well with my hair stylist on the day. read more

Loving the fresh natural look Amanda gave me for my weekend outing! I reached out a week before and she was able to accommodate me. I wasn't sure what look I was going for as a non-makeup-wearing person. She gave me a few ideas and suggested a more natural approach. Amanda is super professional and accommodating and I loved my finished look. I will definitely be working with her again for all my future events. Thanks Amanda! read more

AMANDA is the BEST! The trial was totally worth the investment, I feel like a million bucks and am so excited that she is my artist for my wedding day. I not only feel incredibly comfortable with her but she is extremely talented in her craft. I have never tried airbrush before but it looked so flawless and lasted long! I can't wait to meet her team and don't have a worry in the world for the big day! Thank you Amanda! read more

I needed formal hair and make up done for the City of Hope Gala at the Palace Hotel. My originally scheduled make up and hair artist cancelled at the last minute so I started searching Yelp for a replacement thinking I would be out of luck. That's when I found Amanda. She was every part of amazing! I honestly don't know how she is not booked all the time. Amanda came to my room at the Palace Hotel and was ready to rock n roll! She asked for a couple of pictures of things I thought I wanted and then she went straight to work. The results were over the top stunning. I got so many compliments on my hair and my make up was out of this world. I need hair and make up for another important event in a few weeks and Amanda is at the top of my list. hire Amanda....she is AMAZING! read more

This is a super late review but it shows how good she is because I'm still thinking about how good my hair looked months later! I booked an appointment with her for an half updo for my brothers wedding. She contacted me days before my appointment to answer any questions and let me know about how the appointment will go. I brought in pictures of what I wanted but to be honest, what she created was so much better. As she went along doing the updo, she would often check in with me on my thoughts and if there are any changes I wanted to cater to my needs. She takes her time and I love how accommodating and professional she was. Amanda is also a GREAT conversationalist. I didn't even know how those two hours flew by so fast that I was almost bummed when she was done because I was having such a great time. She is definitely one of the best out there and worth every penny. I'm from Seattle so I had no idea who to book and where to go in SF on such a short notice. I'm so glad I stumbled on her through yelp! I wish she was in Seattle so I could go to her for all my hair/makeup needs. Keep positing on youtube girl! read more

Amanda did my makeup for my engagement photo shoot back in May, and it was absolutely perfect. Amanda is truly talented and skilled with makeup. She helped me create the "natural glow" that I was going for. She was very receptive to my feedback during the session and checked in with me throughout the session to make sure I liked the look. Afterwards, I felt so beautiful, which made me feel confident during the photo shoot! Most importantly, Amanda is the sweetest and a fun artist to work with! She made the session so enjoyable, it felt like I was getting my makeup done by a girlfriend. I wish that she could do my makeup every time I go out. I highly recommend Amanda to anyone searching to get professional makeup done! read more

Amanda Natov and her team of talented artists did an amazing job on hair and makeup for me and my wedding party. We had 8 bridesmaids and a busy morning schedule of getting ready and taking photos. Throughout every minute of the morning, day and evening, Amanda's talent and professionalism were insurmountable. Amanda is amazing at working with brides, bridesmaids, flower girls and family members. She took the time to understand the look and feel that I was going for and made it happen beautifully and effortlessly. Most importantly Amanda makes you feel as beautiful as she makes you look and it absolutely shows in your wedding photos. read more

I was a hair/makeup model for Amanda. I've had my hair and makeup done by Caitlin and Maria, with help from Amanda. BOTH times, I felt more beautiful than ever! It was the best my makeup ever looked! The first time was a natural look, but I looked FAB, hair curled, full face of makeup in under 20 minutes!! The second time, I did a full consultation for a 1950s look. I had pin curls, winged eyeliner, and red lips. My vision truly came to life! By the way, airbrush foundation is the way to go! Amanda has professional lighting in her studio, and having these ladies take care of you just makes you feel like a star. These ladies are very professional, very efficient, very comfortable to be around, and most of all, ARTISTIC! If/when I get married, I won't have anyone else do my makeup! 5+ stars for this business. *makes it rain stars* read more

I hired Amanda for my wedding on 9/12/15. From even with the makeup trial, I knew I made the right decision in choosing Amanda as my makeup and hair artist. She takes her time and does such amazing work in regards to what you want! I changed my hairstyle close to my wedding date and Amanda felt confident she could do it and I trusted her completely. And it all turned out beautifully. I think what makes Amanda five stars though is just how kind and personable she was with my entire bridal entourage. I could see that my ladies felt comfortable with her and was enjoying the process. Waking up at 6am in the morning to get ready isnt easy but she came in with her team with such positive and calming energy. I was just blessed to have her be the start of my special day. Amanda is amazing, talented, and feels like a friend you always knew. read more

Amanda is amazing at everything she does. She has been doing my eyebrow shaping for several years now, as well doing my makeup for special events here and there. She is extremely thorough and detail-oriented and my brows look amazing every time! It has gotten to the point where I don't want anyone else to touch my brows. I have moved a few times in the last 4 years but I will always make the drive the see Amanda -- she is definitely worth it! I haven't done the lashes yet, but a friend of mine sees Amanda for lash extensions and they always look great. The best part about Amanda is how passionate she is about her work. She genuinely loves what she does and it shows, both in her work and in her demeanor. She listens to what the client wants and really cares about providing a great service and a great experience. Go see her, you'll be hooked! read more

I contacted Amanda about 6 weeks before my wedding because I had a trial with an artist that I booked months before that ended up being awful. Amanda called me shortly after I initially emailed her and she was so reassuring and nice that I instantly felt better. Amanda was not available on my wedding date but she told me one of her other artists was available. I was a little unsure since I had only read reviews about how great Amanda was. However I should never had any doubts, Maria Landoni-King was amazing! She was great at the trial and then when I decided to change my hair the day of the wedding she took it in stride and executed it perfectly. I highly recommend Amanda and Maria! read more

I first met Amanda in NY. Saw this girl came in looking all casual, went to the bathroom and 15-20 mins later came out looking like a model!! Got to talking and found out she's a make-up artist. We connected on Facebook that evening when she found out my friend and I were from the Bay Area too. Couple of years later, asked to do a make-up trial for my 40th birthday party. She did such an amazing job. She listened to what I liked and didn't like. She did my make-up and hair at the trial. I posted the picture on Facebook that day, and got almost 150 likes. So she did an amazing job :) And she definitely will be doing my hair and make-up for my birthday. read more

Amanda is an artist in every sense of the word!! I was referred to her by family and close friends and decided to have her do my makeup and hair for a wedding I was attending. She is so easy to talk to & made me feel right at home during my visit! I left her chair looking like a million bucks...but more importantly, I felt like 2 million :) Amanda will forever be the first person that I refer people to when they need hair and makeup done...her passion for her work is obvious..although I can just about guarantee that she doesn't consider it work. Haven't yet had the pleasure of having my lashes done by Ms. Natov, but had my make-up done twice along with my two sisters. She is fabulous, she stared at me for a minute but alerted me don't be alarmed she was looking at my bone structure, skin and coloring. I'm not a heavy make up wearer and she did such a lovely job I looked transformed without feeling heavy in my face. I am planning on hiring her for hair and make up for a photo shoot. Great personality and she tells you every step she is doing and more importantly why she is doing it and what it does to enhance your beauty. Thanks Amanda!!! read more

Amazing service and beautiful work. I had wedding hair and makeup done with Maria, Brittany and Morgan for myself (bride), maid of honor and 7 bridesmaids. They did an amazing job despite being in a tight space and on an even tighter schedule. We all looked gorgeous, and our makeup held up all day into the night! Also, Maria is just the sweetest and helped me stay calm with 80,000 people buzzing around me. A.N. Amanda did hair and makeup for my wedding on August 23, 2014 and was awesome! She was incredibly responsive from our very first communication nearly a year before the big day, which is super important for anyone planning a wedding. You'll quickly weed out anyone who isn't prompt in their responses. She was very organized and prompt in providing an estimate for the day-of services and trials. We booked a trial, and due to miscommunication on my part, I wasn't entirely happy with the hair. She offered to do another trial run of the hair when we did the makeup trial a few weeks before the big day and I loved what she did. She and her assistant allotted 7-8 hours for me, two mothers, and 6 bridesmaids. Everyone looked gorgeous! I think the most outstanding quality of her work is that she has the ability to bring out everyone's natural beauty and doesn't transform them into looking like someone they are not. Everyone looked polished and glamorous, without looking fake. She also brought a much-appreciated sense of calm to our little bridal suite and made everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. She was also very open to feedback and individual preferences. All of the products she brings for hair and makeup are of the highest quality, and she was very good about keeping all the tools clean! I'd highly recommend her for wedding services! read more

Amanda is fantastic! She has such a passion for her art and it completely shows in her work. She did my hair and makeup on my wedding day and it couldn't have been more perfect. She listens to what you want and gives her own suggestions to make you look and feel amazing. Not only is Amanda is extremely knowledgeable (I've def emailed/texted for advice!) and a perfectionist but she's so fun and great to work with! I would highly recommend Amanda for any and all of your makeup needs! read more

Amanda did my hair and makeup for my wedding on 6/24/17, as well as the hair and makeup of some of my bridesmaids and mother of the bride / groom. She was incredibly punctual, detail-oriented, and open to feedback. I loved working with her. She spent a full 2 - 3 hours on my hair and makeup during my trial and make every little tweak to make sure it was just perfect, based on my feedback about exactly what I wanted. The day of the wedding, she had her photos and notes ready and my makeup and hair were even more beautiful than I had remembered from the trial. It was simply perfect. She also had a fellow makeup artist come to help with some of my bridesmaids' makeup (who also did airbrush makeup), and she was incredibly talented as well. All my bridesmaids who worked with her looked so glamorous and were thrilled with her services. I would highly recommend Amanda! read more

I was referred to Amanda by an aesthetician at Cinta Salon in San Francisco, where I have been a client for over eight years. While I was very skeptical to try someone new (I rarely let anyone touch my brows!) I am SO happy I decided to see Amanda. No one has ever been able to thread my brows without it hurting so badly that I literally had to ask them to stop. WIth Amanda, I barely felt a thing! She's that good. Furthermore, her attention to detail in giving me the perfect shape for my bone structure was above and beyond what any other brow specialist has provided me with in the past. I can honestly say that I have never received more compliments on my brows than I did after our first appointment. I also cannot say enough about her skills at lash application. I have the curliest, most unruly lashes around, and Amanda took her time to evaluate them before beginning any work. She went above and beyond to ensure that I had the perfect length, thickness, and shape that goes with my eyes and I couldn't be happier with the results. Her dedication to her work, attention to detail, and her genuine enthusiasm and passion for her craft shows in every appointment I have had with her. She truly is an amazingly talented person whom I look forward to working with again! read more

I worked with Amanda for my wedding on 9/6/15 and engagement shoot in March. Amanda and her team are extremely professional, friendly, fast and produce amazing work. I wanted an effortlessly flawless look, and was so pleased with how the hair and makeup turned out for myself, my bridesmaids, mother and grandmother. I am so glad Amanda was my team for my engagement shoot and wedding. She did more than just being an amazing MUA - I like to think we became friends b/c that's how she treated me. I could rely on her to jump in and do touch ups throughout a very hectic day. She was really a calming presence to everyone, which was so appreciated if things ever started to feel stressful. There were many vendors and friends/family running all over the place on the big day, but she was spot-on in place every time I needed her - she was able to anticipate every time I needed something. She really went above and beyond. I wish I had her skill so I could look that effortlessly glamorous everyday! She is as good as it gets (and more), and worth every penny! read more

Amanda has a true talent for creating beauty and making you feel beautiful-from the inside out. She is an experienced makeup artist and will create any look you desire, from weddings to costume. She did my lashes and they looked wonderful! The compliment that really won me over, was "you went from an 8 to a 9 because of your lashes" ha! Men are jerks! I would recommend Amanda for anything beauty-related, facials, lashes, makeup, waxing!! She's a wonderful woman and you will enjoy every moment of your service! read more

This review is long overdue. Amanda is AMAZING! I hired her for my wedding on 4/30/16. We had a trial run at her studio in SF and she listened, took notes and really cared about me and what I wanted and envisioned. She arrived on my wedding day as scheduled and fully prepared. Between the time of my trial and my actual wedding day I had a few changes and Amanda was more than happy to accommodate them. My makeup was flawless- I've never felt so beautiful. Amanda did my hair and airbrush makeup for my wedding in San Francisco on May 30th, 2015. She had a busy day with other events, but I did not feel like she was rushing and I was very pleased with the results. In fact, the makeup was even better than it was at the trial which made me happy and more importantly made my Mom happy. She's incredible at contouring and highlighted all my best features. My hair was still not exactly how I envisioned it, but it photographed well. I received many compliments on my wedding day and the photos definitely showed off her skills. Amanda did my hair and make up for my wedding on 9.28.13 at the penthouse of the Hudson Hotel in Manhattan. She completely exceeded my expectations in terms of the look she was able to create. She was professional, on time, and listened to all of my ideas. Not only did my make up look absolutely stunning, but the products she used made my skin literally glow (so much so that I asked her to send me a list of what exactly she used so I could buy it on my own). We did a trial run the day before and the day of the finished result looked even better than the trial. Her attention to detail was second to none. She also created a beautiful, romantic side-bun up-do with an incorporated braid that I got compliments on all night long and the following week. On top of all this, she is genuinely kind and an absolute pleasure to work with. I would recommend Amanda Natov to anyone and I feel very lucky to have worked with her on my wedding day. read more
