The bathrooms are in need of repair- the men's bathroom you can't flush the toilet, there is no soap and they have a stand lamp because the overhead is out. The women's have a stall that the locking mechanism is broken off and barely flushes. The store is also marketing a damaged (to the point it is unusable) everything included 20 gallon aquarium with none of the accessories for the same price as a new 20 gallon aquarium. This store needs an overhaul and should NOT be looking after live animals.

I dropped my Shichon (Shih Tzu & Bichon Frise mix), Shadow, off for his spring/summer cut. What was returned to me is something that did not even resemble my baby. Although he is brushed daily his hair still gets tangled and matted in some areas, however, not to the point where he deserved to be skinned beyond recognition. The groomer "texted" me to inform me that Shadow had some "extremely matted" areas which needed to be shaved. That is understandable, however, to shave him completely bald all over was nothing more than pure laziness and ridiculousness. The groomer owed it to me to call and discuss which me any extreme deviations outside of what was discussed. Shadow's face was not matted. They could have at least groomed his face cute enough to go with this hideous scalping. Above all, they charged me $40 for detangling and dematting as if they went in phases when clearly they just went straight in with the clippers and cut off all his hair. This first impression will be my last visit.

When I was talking to the woman at the register she said that she (my dog) acted like she knew the drill and walked right into her kennel/cage which is incredible because she hates water or baths and usually tries to make a run for it at least she did when we would take her to Petco. Super friendly and helpful staff and extremely reasonable prices ($110 for an XL? dog: mini groom/teeth brushed and clipped nails included)l. My dog is usually between 105-110 lbs). They did SUCH a good job clipping her nails. Even the vets we've seen in the past can't do a good job and sometimes miss nails altogether. They did a wonderful job. Would come back and skip the belly shave. Parking is a loading zone at the front of the shop. It's "downtown" Raleigh but like on the outskirts so it's not too busy and it isn't difficult to get a parking spot if you go in the morning. Drop off is between 8-10am. I dropped her off at 9 and they finished by around 3 (like 2:45 to be exact haha).
