I politely introduced myself and explained I was interested in massage therapy and acupuncture. This facility was listed as "in network" with my insurance carrier. She told me to "hold on" and continued a conversation with someone who was in the office and came back on the line but never said- "okay, I'm back" or even a "thank you for holding"...she just began speaking again and I had to ask if she as speaking with me or the other person in office. This lady was extremely dismissive and told me to call my own insurance company to verify my benefits as it was most likely not covered. I explained again that I have coverage so I was then instructed to drop off my insurance information and she would look into it when she had a chance. WHAT?! I've been to a number of holistic and natural therapy professionals who show genuine concern and try their best to be polite and nurturing to assist with natural healing modalities. This woman was anything but. I had to surmise this is all very strange and the woman responded by saying "Well I'm pretty busy, I can get to you in about a month!" The conversation was so off putting my co-worker was alarmed when I explained I was trying to make a simple appointment with an acupuncturist. She commented that she would never give anyone who treated client her business. **Very rude and unprofessional service.* I can't imagine the type of bedside manner she has. If you want someone to be respectful of your time this is definitely not the place. -Guess you're too busy for my business, so I'm gladly taking it elsewhere. We did a one hour full body massage and it was magical!! The salon is clean and smells fresh and the lady at the front was super polite! For our massage we were in the same room with a small dividing wall between the beds. It was dim and had soft music playing, perfect ambiance! I didnt get the names of the two ladies who did ours but they were fabulous! The pressure was consistent and they took their time working out the giant knots in my shoulders. They do walking massage there as well but this time we opted not to try it. Everything about our visit was fantastic! I feel like a bowl of jello now! We have decided to go back once a month for a date day to just relax! I would highly recommend this place! One thing to keep in mind, when they say undress they mean it. I paid for the the combo body and feet service I didn't get my full service. I was assigned a women who was doing great but was abruptly cut short by the man at the counter, saying she was going to take care of someone else. What made me feel uncomfortable my lower body was exposed and the man took over with no reason explaining why he had to take over. When it was time to turn over onto my front side he didn't leave the room but was turned around towards the door. I specifically said I was having really bad pain on my upper back and neck, both the woman and the guy didn't work on what I asked for. My hands were balled up into a fist and we're so tense that my hands were sore. And all I thought about was "I have to get out of here"

I have thick hair, but did not think it was necessary to take two hours, and constantly comment on the amount of it. She originally said it would be $35, but the price kept going up. I had shoulder length hair going in, and I ended up paying $60, excluding the tip. Recently, I wanted wispy bangs so I decided to go to Earl Knight because it is local. I made an appointment the day before for 12:15pm. I got there the next day 10 minutes early and wasn't even acknowledged by the hairstylist (Kaytlyn). I sat down and observed the haircut she was performing. As she was cutting hair, she took multiple personal phone calls, which in my opinion was very unprofessional. Not to mention her foul mouth and attitude toward those she was talking about. Finally at 12;45 I asked Tori if she had any openings for a bang trim because I recognized a Dad and His two sons had an appointment at 12:30 and I did not want to keep them waiting longer than had. Tori told me that she did not have openings and once again restated that I had such thick hair, bangs would look like a mullet on me. It's really not that thick at all. Kaytlyn overheard our conversation and asked what I was saying. After she was told that I had a bang trim at 12:15 and reminded that it was nearly 1:00, she turned to me and told me that she has three haircuts ahead of me after the fade she was already working on. When I asked what time the haircuts were scheduled for, she told me "12:30 but they are a walk in" I then said "oh okay, well mine was at 12:15." The Dad then started that his appointment was scheduled ahead of time and was after me. Kaytlyn ignored him and told me that she was going to finish the haircut she was doing and then start on the boys and then get to me. Are you serious?! She proceeded to tell me that I can stay and wait or go get lunch or Starbucks and then come back for my cut when she was ready. By now it was past 1pm and I did not have any desire to get my haircut when it worked for her. it was $15 trim and she pushed me aside to get to the customers who were paying more. I walked out and did not say anything else, but I definitely will not be going there again. Sad because it is so hard to find a shop around the tri area

Madra responded quickly and I was able to book a massage right away. I popped into a Lyft ride, which was very easy in Barstow btw. I had selected a Deep Tissue massage but quicly realized I'm too much of a wimp, and requested Swedish instead after a few minutes. Madra was extremely accommodating and understanding, while also explaining the possible benefits of each type of massage. Madra is currently working out of her home studio, which was a completely professional setting and typical massage therapy room. She also includes a bottle of water in the massage fee, which was thoughtful. I'm very grateful to Madra for sharing her skill and helping me feel so much better during a stressful time!
