The office is small and not especially well kept. A friendly greeting and I was quickly sent to a room. The doc was right behind me. I know that he had 30 or more years of experience ...apparently mostly with Asian clients since his English wasn't too hood; hard for Me to understand. His demeanor was brash, curt. I struggled to Make sure he Knew what my issues were (lower back). I lay face down on a chiropractor's table. He inserted the needles (no pain) and he attached electrical stimulation to the needles. He turned up the juice and asked me to let him know how well I was toleration the electricity. I lay there for about maybe 20 minutes. He came back, pulled the needles out and began "cupping". I couldn't tell if there was a benefit to that. Them massage with an electric vibrator. Time to go. That'll be $X please. And...out. I returned a half dozen times. There was some minor short-term relief of symptoms. Not an unpleasant experience. No magic though. I might try another acupuncturist some time, just to compare.
