He gave us English menus which were a godsend because it was the hardest thing trying to decipher the Spanish menu.

I'm not even embarrassed to say I ate at a Hooters in Cancún. We were in the Hotel Zone bar area…read moreanyway, so it only seemed fitting. We sat at the bar, like we always do. Service was very good. We had 2 bartenders, and they were both super attentive. The food was really good. They had quite a few sauces that I've never seen at any of the Hooters I've ever eaten at in the US. I was craving veggies, and an American chain restaurant seemed like a good place to get them in Mexico. My dish, the Cowboy chicken, was great. It came with steamed veggies (just ok. They were probably frozen), grilled corn on the cob (really good) and an incredibly juicy, moist chicken breast topped with American & Swiss cheese, bbq sauce & bacon. Yum!

This was our appetizer stop before heading to our dinner less than a 10-minute walk from here. Our order was: * Chicken Caesar Salad - Romaine lettuce with shredded parmesan cheese, home style croutons and creamy caesar dressing. Topped with grilled chicken. * Naked Wings (10) - traditional style, no breading with Hooters spicy garlic sauce (5 flames) and bleu cheese dressing * Curly Fries * XX Lager mug * Berry Tropical Punch - Blackberry syrup, cranberry juice, water and pineapple juice * Red Berries Lemonade - Blackberry syrup, strawberry mix, juice blueberry, water, lemon juice and sugar syrup, decorated with two cherries Delicious meals & drinks interrupted by loud cheering and celebration from other tables of patrons either watching the NFL games on the large TV screens or acknowledging a special event like a birthday! My sweetie finally found a 5-flame wing sauce she loved! Vanesa provided cheerful service throughout our casual Hooters experience.

This is a smaller place in a plaza, so blink and you'll miss it. I started with a margarita as…read moreusual. It's huge, as far as presentation it's not very fancy, it was tasty but as large as it was you'd think it had more alcohol to offset the size. But it did not. My wife ordered the aguachile with octopus. I ordered the Tuna Burger, and we got the steak quesadillas as an appetizer. My wife said she would give her aguachile a 3.8 out of 5. I thought the tuna burger was very tasty. Basically they took a tuna steak and put it between a hamburger bun. I can't really compare it to a regular meat burger. But on a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a 7. It came only with lettuce and tomato, but it had flavor enough. The quesadilla's were good, but nothing special, I'd say they were comparable to any you get at an average Mexican restaurant in the states. We came here because of the high ratings. Maybe we ordered the wrong things to try, I thought everything was good, but nothing that was so good it made me want to hurry back.

Decided to come here because it's expensive to eat on the resort we're at. We were sat down…read moreimmediately and they promptly took our order. The menu is simple with just enough options to where everyone can find something they like. I had the skirt steak tacos and my friend got fish tacos, We also ordered a frozen margarita and mojito that were huge!!!!! The prices were fair for what you get and the atmosphere is casual and comfortable. The music is not too loud so you can have a conversation with your group. They are not pushy to get you in and out like other places. Will definitely be back

They will be two takeaways from this review…read more.. 1. Awesome place to drink! Great prices and tasty drinks! 2. Food was below expectations, I would consider this a bar with below average bar food. Sat down to order food but was told they don't serve food until 6P. We decided to have drinks and wait for the food. As 6P approached the waiter said maybe 7P they will start. At this point it's like pay for the drinks and try again. Ordered a Mango Daquiri which was very tasty and unique. It had tamarindo on the rim and at the bottom of the drink. Flavor was definitely there. Also ordered two Don Julio shots for 70 pesos/ea. Cost is definitely reasonable. We left, but did come back later to try the food. We ordered the beach please combo which came with fries, cheese sticks, wings, and nachos. The fries were good along with the cheese sticks. Bars usually fry food decently. Nachos were basic and just not good. The nachos were toosalty and the cheese was awful. The wings were unique, but not in a good way. We went with BBQ instead of buffalo. The BBQ wings were cooked well, but beyond sweet. It tasted like the mixed tamarindo or chile limon in the sauce to give it a Mexican Twist, but it was not enjoyable. Bad combo for wings. We were they pretty early and planned to try again later at night to see if more people actually hang out there. But never got around to it.
