Suzanna and Rich are amazing. I have a mixed Pitbull/sheep dog mix who over time became aggressive (I got her as a puppy, took her to training, socialized her -yet her aggression was getting out of control). I spent thousands of dollars with other trainers that made no difference. I had no hope for her and was considering giving her up. My old trainer recommended I take her to Rich. If you knew Darcy then and meet her NOW, she's a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT dog. Darcy is well behaved, follows commands, and her aggression is in check. I highly recommend A happy pet tail. It's worth every penny.

Truly a hidden gem!!! Some of the best people to work with. THEY ARE CHEAPER THAN MOST COMPETITORS! CHEAPEST IVE FOUND ACTUALLY!! They're also having a great Black Friday deal. All the staff are super friendly and you feel a very intimate focus on you as a client. Everything is tailored to what you want and what your focus is on. When I say tailored to you, I really mean that. The private trainings are really private and if you show up during someone else's time, they ask you to wait which is AMAZING FOR THE DOG training because It's so much harder to train when more people come because you have to refocus your dog again. The facility is super clean, it doesn't smell like pee or poo like 98% of other dog training facility. You also don't hear dogs barking, crying, or yelping in the back like other dog training facility. I used to get so turned off when I would walk into a dog training facility and it sounds like a damn concert. Musty smell, and dogs orchestrating a sad melody in the back with the barks and cries and Yelp, like damn? What are you guys doing back there. Not here however, the dogs are quiet, the place is kept clean and they practice safe COVID 19 protocol. They are also well equipped, I know because I showed up to pick up my dog without a leash and they had some in hand, they also have touch pads, boxes, scarf, ecollar just to name a few. They have a bunch of agility course equipments for dogs, they also have treadmills, toys so you don't even have to bring any of that. I took Blu for a 30 day board and train and they would constantly update on his progress, answer any questions or concerns and trained him on what we want done instead of other crap. I was concerned that they might forget what I want my dog to be trained on which is environmental training, but that definitely wasn't the case with them! I wanted to take my dog everywhere with me, hookah spots, Starbucks, beaches, Santana row just to name a few with being able to control him. Before, Blu would pee on everything to mark his territory. cry uncontrollably because he sees another dog and he wants to say hi. He was always antsy when we would try to take him to a place where we just sit and chill. He would literally try to cry and he would have bursts episodes of him trying to run away because he wants to get up and go which is super embarrassing because people already have a bad biased against his breed because he's a bully. It's even worst because I couldn't control him. Now Blu doesn't mark his territory, He doesn't cry anymore when there's dogs around, he doesn't pull, he doesn't try to say hi to everyone that passes by, he isn't antsy nor always wanting to get up and go. He's super well mannered now. The day of the pick up, I wanted to test if he really got the environmental training, so I asked how I would control Blu in new places if he acts up. They were so confident that we actually walked to harbor freight and practiced there just to show me how he really is. Not to many trainers will do that, they took the time out of their day to go to a new place just to show me how far Blu has come along. That is confidence! I picked environmental training for Blu because I want to take him everywhere with me. Dogs on average only live for about 8-12 years and that's a really short amount of time to spend with what I would consider my kid. Blu is now 5 years old and it pains me to say that because his glory days are only a couple of years left. I didn't want to waste anymore time with Blu because I know he's getting old. I want him to experience the world, see and do stuff that other dogs won't normally get to experience, so when that time comes I won't have any regrets because I know he lived a full life. And when we finally see each other again? Well will pick up where we left off and continue our adventures with him heeling by my side thanks to Rich and Ahappypettail!

I have been short-staffed, so I wasn't able to take time off but w/ my team slowly getting back one by one, I knew I needed some time w/ myself doing what brings me the most joy. Growing up we had dogs and cats. Now I have 8 cats and I feed a small stray population (all fixed) in me neighborhood. But the more I work inside the semiconductor industry, the more I want to get away from the noise, the people, and be w/ the animals. When animals are hungry, they eat. When animals are tired, they sleep. When there are conflicts, they fight. They have no hidden agenda. They will love you unconditionally no matter what you bring to the table. Booking the reservation was easy. You pay half of it first to secure the timeslot. At the time of your reservation, you will be asked to pay the remaining balance. Paying cash will give you 10% off. You can bring children and even your dogs! They have a small area for kids to play. You can bring fruits/vegetables or purchase food for $10. All of their animals (cows, chickens, alpacas, goats, rabbits, and dogs) are secured. You can feed them, take selfies w/ them, and pet them but you cannot be inside the enclosures. The cats are healthy and friendly, they roam the property. There wasn't a single area I saw that wasn't maintained. Every animal and every enclosure were clean and well taken care of. Jasmine and Andrew were personable, friendly, and you can see how much love and patience they radiate. I cannot wait to head back. This time I will bring Gavin. From that day on, I decided to stop consuming lamb, goat, and a day after turkey. i am not trying to be vegan or a vegetarian but I wanted to reduce my carbon footprint what w/ all the AI data centers and the artic no longer being protected, I just feel it's my duty to do my part in helping preserve this planet not just for my kids, but for all living beings on this planet - mainly the animals.

She's stayed at Sweet Doggies, which is fine, but for 2 weeks, I wanted to find a place that was more like a home and not a boarding establishment. Honestly, I'm not even sure how MDAB showed up on my feed because they are about an hour away from us, but I am so glad it did. We did a meet and greet and right off the bat, you could tell that they love what they do, and that they love the dogs and all animals. The first couple nights, Blue was a bit anxious but Sandra and Joel made her feel comfortable. Also we are able to manage her skin allergies at home, but they flared up while boarding, and they took care of her. I loved being able to watch videos on Instagram. Sandra is also a retired vet tech so you know you the dogs are in good hands. I only wish we weren't so far from each other so we could use them more often!

Our boy had been found wondering the streets of SJ. With my wife and I, he was the Biggest love bug. So cute, and funny, and cuddly. But we can only imagine the terrible experiences he had endured. He had a scar atop his head and was very nervous around new people, which led to behavior like growling and snapping at times. His fear was only made worse by social distancing and not being around new people. Once Covid settled a bit we sought out a trainer for him. I'll never forget the first days Dawna and Megan came to the house. Our pup growled and was very displeased that these strangers were in his space, and worse, trying to interact with him. They weren't a bit deterred, which I was impressed by but I remained skeptical. Fast forward something like 2 weeks: Megan was his Absolute best friend.
