I cannot recommend Southern Tails highly enough!!! After moving to Asheboro from Wilmington, I was…read moretroubled by the lack of professional quality groomers. Since opening a few years ago, Southern Tails has thoroughly met my needs, and has raised the bar for groomers in the area! The biggest compliment that I can give Southern Tails is that the staff members demonstrate a sincere love for animals, and I completely trust them to care for my pets. I've been blown away by the level of personalized attention that the staff members give their customers, and feel incredibly comforted by the fact that the staff committed my name (and my pets' names/history) to memory. Another aspect of the service that I've truly enjoyed is that Southern Tails keeps records of how they groom your pet, which results in your pet receiving consistent haircuts every time. From start to finish, Southern Tails provides THE BEST grooming service in town!

Absolutely one of the worst experiences I've had in a pet store GASTONIA NC. A manager was called…read moreto the front over and over for at least 30 minutes, and not once did anyone show up. It honestly felt like there was no management in the building at all. There was only one employee visible the entire time a woman stuck running the register while the rest of the store seemed completely abandoned. Customer service was terrible, not because she wasn't trying, but because one person clearly cannot run an entire store alone. What made it worse was the condition of the animals. Several of them looked poorly cared for, and the overall atmosphere gave the impression that basic attention and upkeep are not a priority here. For a place that sells live animals, that is unacceptable. This location feels disorganized, understaffed, and poorly managed. If no one can even respond when a manager is called repeatedly, that says everything customers need to know.

We…read morehad a near accident once with him in the car on the way to the vet and a couple car rides have ended in medical procedures for him. Add all that up and Kitty doesn't love the car, so the mobile service is a great option to minimize the stress. Tiger has had two visits with Katie and they've been early both times which is great. Tiger comes away looking much cleaner and loses about one whole cats worth of fur with the brushing. On our 2nd visit, Katie was early and we had made the mistake of letting Tiger outside so he was on pawtrol when she arrived. Of course he showed back up 5 minutes after she left but she was able to come back and take care of him! That was so nice of her to do, it was our mistake for not having him ready to go. If you have a cat that needs some attention, consider these folks! Good work and good customer service to boot.
