Went here because my dentist was on vacation. My crown had become really loose in front on Thursday night (Dang you popcorn!). Was worried it would fall out, and I would look super Hillbilly. They were open Saturdays. Were highly rated. I called a lot of dentists on Google before settling on this one. They seemed really nice on the phone. Let's do it. Got there, first thing I noticed was the outside needs a coat of paint badly, to put it lightly. Got a little nervous. Waiting room was decent, but dental rooms are bland, and poorly decorated. Saw Dr. John S. Lee. No bedside manner whatsoever. Just walked up and started working. Stood behind me talking to the nurse where I couldn't see him, as if I wasn't there. No introduction or pleasantries here. Just straight to work burn-em and turn-em style. My tooth came right off with a tug. He cleaned it out. Looked at the X-Rays. Said all he could do was re-cement it.. Took 30 seconds. Said the root was too deteriorted... muttered "this isn't going to hold" to the nurse right in front of me. Then, he explained I would need a 9 month long procedure that required grinding down my jawbone, a fake flapper tooth, and installing a REALLY expensive dental implant. None of which is covered by my PPO insurance. He re-cemented the tooth, which was still as loose when I walked in, as when I walked out. This all took about 5 minutes. I got my teeth cleaned while I was there. Talked to the woman up front about what the doctor had recommended, and she shot some big numbers at me for the procedure, but let me know they had a payment plan. Said it was Saturday, and she had my email, and would send me the quote, with the breakdown of today's charges included. I left feeling no better, and was stressed that I would need to come up with a couple grand (basically my family summer vacation savings). Never got that quote FYI.. Not even in my Spam folder. They just billed out against my insurance and I never heard back. Except for an email to rate my experience. Here we are. Went to my dentist early the next week. He reset the post, reset the crown. My tooth is fine, and it took all of 20 minutes. I had to pay both him and Dr. Lee. My dentist charged much less. Dr. Lee should have spent 20 minutes to do what he did, and now my insurance is maxed out until January. I would look elsewhere for a dentist, if I were you. read more

Dr. Lee is an excellent dentist and his dental staff is friendly and accommodating. I came for a general dental cleaning and Dr. Lee did a very thorough job. During the exam, he found that one of my teeth in the back was chipped and he used state of the art imaging devices to personally show me. He also knew right away that the chipping has been giving me issues with food being stuck back there - something no dentist has told me in the past. I was impressed. I'm a big sucker for nice brand named items in the goodie bag at the end of exams. They gave me some of my favorite dental hygiene products. My service here was EXCELLENT! Appointment wait time here is great. I called for a routine cleaning and was offered an appointment same day. I need to get a long awaited crown put in. It's been 2 years since my root canal, butchered by another dentist. Hence the reason why I had to search for a new dentist. The dentist at this location has been very kind and helpful. He never pressured me to get a crown but made it clear it would be needed sooner than later before I had any further complications. Due to my last experience I was scared to have work done on my teeth. Besides the horrible sound of the drill, the dentist was very quick with getting my tooth ready for a mold to be made. He was always concerned with my comfort level and making sure I had to pain. His wonderful staff are great too. They are very kind and match his level of expertise and attention. Who knew I would give a five star rating to a dentist? Because... I always think that dentists make too much money compared to their level of education/training. My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Lee for more than 5 years now. For all my visits, he performs his procedures rapidly and painlessly. He does not talk a lot but he listens and addresses all my concerns without any rush. And most of all, this guy is really honest. With the way insurance treating dentists these days, you can get easily ripped off or get unnecessary treatments. You would never get that from Dr. Lee. Came here for teeth cleaning/checkup. I was the only one there in the waiting room when I arrived, and when the assistant called me I went inside and sat on one of the chairs. I wasn't in the mood to talk and I didn't say anything to Dr.Lee. Possibly he did not like me based on first impression. Before we began, Dr. Lee dropped one of his gloves on the ground beside me and then he wore that glove anyways. When I opened my mouth he immediately went straight to drilling instead of inspecting my teeth first for cavities, and the drilling hurt so bad on my gums that I was wincing the entire time. The pain was the main reason I canceled my next appointment here- fortunately I didn't have to endure it for too long because during the middle of cleaning, Dr. Lee stood up and walked away without saying a word, at which point his assistant took over and she was much more gentle. This dentist is amazing! I was recommended by my husband, my boyfriend at the time and also by my mother-in-law. I was going to a different dentist at the time and wasn't too happy with them. They wanted to do two cavities on me and I was a bit shocked because I take care of my teeth. My husband told me to go to A' Dentistry. I called to set an appointment, the receptionist is sweet. She worked very well with me. I emailed her my x-rays from the previous dentist. She had Dr. Lee take a look and figure things out. He said I didn't need any work done. But I was due for teeth cleaning which I set an appointment for. I then referred my mother. My family and I are very pleased with this dentist. I had not seen a dentist for many years, had several missing teeth, required numerous roots removed, a dozen fillings placed, plus, partial dentures...in other words, a total dental overhaul. Dr. Lee is really good & very adept at keeping pain to a minimum. In 4 visits, I've only seen 2 staff so he keeps his business simple and overhead low. His cost for the work was the lowest out of 4 estimates I received before I started. What's cool (because I need dentures made): His office is next to a dental lab. Dr. Lee seems very nice and polite at first. I had a crown on my molar and an implant on another molar done by Dr. Lee. I would like to share about my nightmare experience on the implant. The entire procedure took about a year to complete, mainly because of the lack of proper procedures. Dr. Lee was not capable of doing the implant by himself, so he had another periodontist brought in to perform the procedure in his office. That's when the nightmare started. The day after the procedure, my whole cheeks were swelled up like I had baseballs in my mouth. Dr. Lee said it was normal. Then a few months after the abutment was placed. When Dr. Lee tried to place a crown, his hand slipped and dropped the crown in my mouth. Luckily I immediately gagged it and spit it out. He apologized, but I was not happy about the carelessness. Once the procedure was completed, my gum frequently started to get infected and bleed frequently. I had to go back to Dr. Lee more than ten times to get antibiotics. After a while, he was giving me all kinds of excuses and told me that there is nothing he can do about my gum kept getting infected. He said that he doesn't know what's going on. I told him to contact the periodontist who performed the procedure, and he said that the guy is busy and couldn't come to see me! Are you kidding me? I paid close to $3,000, and this is what I'm left with pain and suffering? I was not able to even chew on the side of implant for a while. read more
