Gary inspected the ring in great detail and made a recommendation to remove some of the shank and rebuild it, as well as to place tension springs to prevent spinning and slipping. He took his time to measure my finger for the optimal fit. I was told by another jeweler that all of my prongs needed replacement and I wanted a second opinion. Gary again took his time to inspect all the prongs and reassured me that they didn't need replacement. I was very glad for his honesty. The next business day, Gary fixed the ring in 3-4 hours and it came out beautifully. I was so nervous previously to entrust someone with my ring, but I felt at ease. Gary offered that I stay and watch the entire process. He told me to inspect my gemstone carefully after his job was complete as general good practice after having my jewelry worked on! I am so happy with the end result and strongly recommend this jeweler. The key factors that impressed me most were honesty, trustworthiness, attention to detail, patience, mastery of his craft, and sharing of knowledge/providing an understandable rationale for his decision-making. I will absolutely be returning for intermittent ring checks!

Stronger than cubic zirconia and as sparkly as real diamonds. One of my prongs is lifted/rough and I wanted to have it fixed, polished, whatever. I had made a 'repair' appointment online, and was hoping this could be done while I waited. After waiting about 15 minutes while the very snobbish employees waited on people making purchases (even ones that came in after me), I was welcomed and the woman went and got her 'tool' to check my diamonds. I told her they're not real, they're diamond alternatives. Well she told me they absolutely could not, would not repair this ring with it's cubic zirconia's. I again said they aren't CZ, they're an alternative but was denied any further service. So I went to another local jeweler, where they proceeded to examine my ring, repair the prong and clean the ring and my wedding band which also has 'diamonds'. I will never go into a Jared again, and will advise my sons who will be getting engaged soon to stear clear as well!
