The project included digging up some bushes and mulching around the home. We were quoted around $800 total for the project in person. We were asked to spray paint the lawn to indicate how far the mulch should go. We must've sprayed at least 3 times over the next several weeks, as the grass grew waiting on him to start the project. Once it was started, we were very happy with the progress, however we were left needing to add back sod to an area by our back porch, which the owner said he would finish. In addition, the electrical boxes in our front yard were not mulched because of not knowing where the lines ran underground. We received the bill and were surprised to find it more than double the original quote, without any communication during the process that it would be so much more than estimated. We paid in full, in good faith that the project would be completed. Unfortunately, we have contacted the owner numerous times since last year and the project still has not been completed (it was started over 9 months ago). Also, the owner says the part around the electrical box will not be completed because he claims it wasn't part of the original project. Lesson learned to get everything in writing! I highly suggest avoiding this company, but if you do work with them, get everything in writing and don't pay in advance!

They were selling herb plants for $4 and veggies for $5, which is a good price for the 12-18" stalk of the plant you get, and of a very healthy quality. The peonies were in full bloom and they have so many beautiful varieties! The garden path is generally well shaded and has a variety of benches - my favorite is the butterfly! I am not sure if there is an entry fee under normal operations, but they do host weddings on site, with outdoor ceremony space and an indoor reception house.
