Well, they finished the entire list with time to spare! This allowed for additional pruning of other trees that we didn't think would happen. They did fantastic work. I would highly recommend this company if you need any tree work!! Sadly did not take any before photos, so nothing to show the great work they did!

Kyle operated and now the maples can breathe and look better than they ever have. The bed under the maples contained 40 prized hostas and 7 huge pots with jade, bromeliads and flowers. The crew caught each branch before it reached the ground and didn't harm a single plant! In the back, a giant river birch was growing onto the roof. River birches are not easy to climb, but Kyle was able to climb it and completely eliminate the problem. The whole crew worked together as a team, cutting, hauling, chipping--and at the end, doing a thorough clean up job removing all debris and raking the yard. I highly recommend Blue Ox.

We noticed they started working on the other part. We were afraid it could go at any time. We got three different estimates. Broad Ripple Tree being the lowest. They were able to work around our schedule. The guys doing the removal were great. Took everything down and cleaned up. We were very happy with the work. Our yard is a little tore up but that's to be expected. When paying I wanted to take them a check since one of the guys told me they charge 2% more for credit card fees. I had issues finding the right place. They are behind the big building that the gps will take you to. And there is no signage for Broad Ripple Tree Service. For the work they did we'd totally recommend.

The estimate we received was less than two others that we had gotten. They arrived promptly both for the estimate and the day of service. They had bucket trucks to use for the large branches over our house and to get to the top of the trees. They also climbed in our other trees to remove dead branches. They left some firewood for us and even cut it in 18-inch lengths. They repaired divots in the ground from where the huge pieces of the oak fell. Overall, a very good experience. We would highly recommend.

The crew returned in the afternoon and completed work quickly. Though they were the most affordable, there were a couple things that I wasn't happy about. The tree I had removed was close to my home, and was in the process of dying (already had limbs falling). While cutting it down, one of the limbs they cut hit the front side of home. Luckily, there was no damage caused that I know of- though the gutter was scratched and I'm sure the roof was scuffed. Secondly, they dropped large parts of the tree onto my concrete- this was a heavy tree so fortunate that the concrete wasn't damaged. A pro was they took time to cut out a section of the base of the tree so that I could preserve it- went above and beyond what was expected for the service. Though they were the most affordable, I did have a couple close calls where my property could have been damaged. Will most likely go with a different company next time.
