I was actually suspicious of the pricing at first, but it seems like they use tech (in this case a bucket lift truck instead of climbers for the altitude work) where it makes sense. We hired them to remove a couple small dead trees, do a 25' high limb removal, and trim the top deadwood off of another tree. Tree of Life crew rolled up with a team and bunch of equipment, worked quickly as specified with Luis on the quote. They got the planned work done and did not mess around... What really distinguished them to me was the care of the property. They brought blowers and cleaned up after the cutting areas. They brought a chipper for the branches and truck to do any other hauling. For a high cut, they brought in a bucket truck, and laid down rubber track mats to ensure the yard wasn't damaged by the tires. They watched out for the various cables and things attached to our house to avoid damage from limbs. This showed good attention to how they did their work and care for the customer. I have been searching a long time to find a good one, because at my age I am limited on my ability to perform yard work. Well, sadly my search continues. I hired them to trim 12 burning bushes at a cost of $350. Their performance was not what I expected. I assumed they would do a great job based on the wonderful photos shown at their website and the glowing reviews left by other Yelpers. I was left stunned and disappointed when I saw the mess they left me. They did not use a tarp to collect the clippings as shown at their website. And to top it off they used a leaf blower to clear the clippings along with the new mulch I just paid $1,400 to have delivered and placed. Additionally, the bush clippings and mulch were blown all over my front yard. I addressed my disappointment to them and their response was "sorry" and they reduced the price charged to $300. I take great pride in the beauty of my landscaping. I just need a company that feels the same and takes great care to keep it that way. As the saying goes "fool me once", but there definitely won't be a twice with this company. Yelp may want to reconsider their "guarantee" for this company. My advice to others is if you consider hiring this company, then you must accept the risk you might be left with substandard results and a mess to clean up yourself.
