Jessie and his team did an AC install for a property I manage and boy was I impressed! From start…read moreto finish the entire team of installers and third party vendors were on time, hard working, very communicative and proactive with me/each other and other tradesmen involved (concrete work/electrician, etc), kept everything tidy and cleaned up after themselves, and their work ethic was admirable. They were also fun and ready for a joke when they popped their heads up from working. The price they quoted was very competitive and they were recommended by friends who had their AC install completed by Strategic Air Conditioning. So now I'm here spreading the word, you can't go wrong with Jessie and his team with a refit or general maintenance or trouble shooting. Give them a call, you won't be disappointed. Update: I had one of Jessie's team come out to flush the system for maintenance and he was part of the team that did the install. Really nice guy and very thorough in his work. I'm still impressed, you will be too!

It's nice to enjoy that cool comfort of air conditioning. It took a few months to get the equipment delivered to Maui(Expected supply chain issues.) The entire process was painless; from estimate to installation. Our dual, split system was installed in just 3 days, start to finish. They protected my home with drop cloths/shoe coverings, etc and installed the 5 interior units without damaging any flooring or walls. An amazing accomplishment. They outsourced the electrical work to Ikaika Lau Hee, who was very accommodating and efficient. He was in and out in only a few hours. I want to mention the great job from the workers, Chris, Dean and Devon. Overall, everyone was hardworking, friendly and educational. More importantly was the company's honesty. I was to get a $400 Hawaiian Energy rebate for the system. Dawn found that the rebate had been increased to $650 and passed it on to us, including it in the final bill. Thanks Dawn!! This has been a very positive experience.

They just did a renovation job on one of my rental properties in Makiki. It included reflooring, painting, and numerous repairs and they delivered more than they promised. They are honest, reasonable, communicative, reliable, accommodating, and best of all hardworking with great quality workmanship. These qualities are certainly challenging to find in a handyman these days but I am happy to recommend them. I worked with Donovan, the foreman who kept in touch with me everyday and sent me photos of their progress. He is professional and super friendly and I appreciate how he met me at the hardware store, shopped for all the materials, and I paid the hardware store. This way I'm not making a blind deposit for "materials" bearing the risk of the contractor taking the money and running. Once a contract is signed they did require 50% Deposit on the labor cost but the work was already in progress. They're also fully insured. A neighbor in the same building was so impressed with their work that they hired them on the spot to have their flooring redone as well! I found AllTech Professionals on Yelp through their "Obtain a Quote" process. I love Yelp for this feature as it has saved me so much time on managing my projects. They responded right away, showed up on time to the appointment, understood the tasks without overselling, we worked on the written agreement and purchased supplies the next day, and the job started the day after and was finished in the estimated timeframe they promised. What's not to love?! Call Donovan at (808)208-1773. He and his brother Ben did an excellent job. They have operations on Oahu and Maui. Mahalo, Donovan and AllTech Professionals. If you're needing a new roof, I feel your pain. That's a very expensive project and it's hard to…read moreenjoy while you're sitting in your living room. Everything in my home was builder grade, including the roof. In 25 years, large areas of these low grade shingles had granules that had washed away and the shingles were getting brittle. The boots around plumbing vent pipes had rubber seals that had rotted away, letting water get by. After asking friends and neighbors for recommendations for a good roofer, we got 3 bids for a replacement roof, and they were all nearly identical, if you only look at the price. I was impressed when Bryndon, of Advanced Roofing Solutions came out, he didn't climb up on the 2nd story roof. He sent his drone up for closeup videos. He told me that my roof could last a few more years but we agreed that it was smart to be proactive now. Bryndon answered all of our questions and didn't try to pressure us at all. When I received and compared the 3 bids, the Advanced Roofing Solutions offer looked much more impressive. It included the high quality of materials I expected and then some. We were in business. The crew was ready to start on our roof in a couple of weeks. The workers were all friendly, on time, hard working and very courteous. They cleaned up the area completely every day, too. They used a rubbery underlayment that has an adhesive backing so it sticks to the plywood roof. This is normally done to the lowest 3' of roof (if at all), but they covered the whole roof with this premium product. They used lead boots on the vent pipes, giving a good, longer lasting seal than rubber provides. They added aluminum drip edge flashing all the way around, to protect the fascia board. Why didn't the builder think of that? They used shorter nails on the lowest part of the roof, so nails wouldn't be sticking out under our open soffit. And finally, Advanced Roofing Solutions included a 50 year, 5 star warranty from CertainTeed that is transferable. I've shared my experience with neighbors who are also dealing with Advanced Roofing Solutions.
