J&J Quality Fencing was fantastic to work with. After waiting three weeks for another company to…read moresend a quote (that never came), Jason had a detailed, itemized estimate to me within days -- and the entire job was completed just over a week later. They finished everything in one day, cleaned up thoroughly, and even went the extra mile to paint the fence (which they don't do painting) so it would meet Mililani Town Association and AOAO requirements (which can be strict about uniformity). That extra effort made the whole process stress-free and awesome. The workmanship is solid -- our gate and fence are now sturdier than our association-built carport. Great communication, fair pricing, and true local customer service. Highly recommend supporting this small, locally owned business.

However, despite multiple follow-ups over the course of about two months, I never received an estimate or clear timeline update regarding the project. Supreme Fencing was one of the contractors who replied first to my inquiries, and sent someone out to evaluate the project site and get me an estimate quickly. Their pricing was fair, and they offered many appealing options for what I wanted to do. Despite how backed up with work they had due to island wide damage from this last storm, they were also very accommodating with scheduling given my concerns about the needs to have the fence replaced before the remains of my old fence caused damage if another storm hits. From beginning to end, my experience with Supreme Fencing has been exemplary. Erika kept me up to date and answered every question I had immediately, with cheer and enthusiasm. She's a great asset to Supreme Fencing and contributed greatly to my fantastic experience hiring them. The work crew arrived on schedule and worked HARD through a very hot and humid two days to demolish my old fence and put up a new vinyl fence and gate. Their foreman and crew were very friendly and despite the conditions worked nonstop and sounded like they had fun doing it. They were perfectionists in how they tackled the project, filling me in each step on what they had planned to do and how they planned to do it, and made sure everything was done with my needs in mind, and a flawless end result as the goal. When everything was up I watched as they went over everything with a fine tooth comb and wiped it all down and made sure that not a piece was out of place and everything looked perfect. They were also very mindful of cleaning up the work site every day. I'm extremely happy with the end result and can firmly say I made the right decision to hire Supreme Fencing, and I expect that anyone who reads this review will have the same experience I did.

Burt had his subcontractor reach out to us to ask that we remove our negative review-- rather than addressing our concerns directly. That was disappointing. To be clear, the electric gate was not installed "for free". The subcontractor offered to handle the labor only if we purchased all equipment and materials ourselves. This was done because it was evident that Kihei Fencing had not fulfilled the basic expectations that were originally promised.
