They have stunning quintessential 60's lamps, unique furnishings, bitchin' gifts and collectibles and even fabulous retro clothing. My husband recently found a perfectly fitting Halston suede jacket for $45.00. I've seen the most beautiful, classic Mad Men bars, art nouveau desks and lounge chairs with fantastic fabric. Most recently I bought a solid shelving unit for my den. I've seen vintage stereo player/furniture contraptions, and fun banquette seating options along with sensational nesting tables in perfect condition. They always have great serving pieces from bygone eras whether your looking for a funny Art Deco paella dish or a more recent 70's Fondue set. I found a velvet cape several years ago from the 50's that I continue to wear every chance I get. They also have great gifts from funny cards to unique conversation starters. There are always things to enjoy at Flashback including their nutty window displays which are the best in town. I am always so happy that they continue to bring their fun to Midtown Memphis. I wish I could give zero stars to this place and the nasty woman employee that tried to help me…read moretoday. Was there on 10/12/26 and decided to buy an old 30's floor model radio for $260. A woman working there reluctantly offered to help dig it out of the sellers booth area located at the end of an aisle and was handling the stores 4 wheel cart to do so. Once the heavy item was placed on the cart with the help of myself and another customer, the cart shifted a bit toward me and I was sort of wedged in. When I went to stand back up straight, I accidently bumped into a small flimsy easel and that contained glassware and some fell and were broken. I brought the radio up front myself to pay for it and was immediately confronted and told by this woman that I broke items and was going to pay for them to the tune of around $70 dollars (after she called the owner of the booth) or I could not buy the radio, I offered to pay half of this amount and brought up that I thought the Gallery should pay half as their woman and I were working together to even get it where I could bring it up front to purchase and I was in an awkward position physically when the mishap occurred. When I was told no, I objected to paying anything. This woman became rude and accused me of blaming her for the mishap which I was really not doing. She told me if I repeated myself again that she would KICK ME OUT OF THE STORE.. Needless to say, I told them I didn't think they were being fair and I was not going to purchase the radio. Her response was "SO WHAT, I DON'T CARE". I also I explained that I may wife, kids and I have been shopping there for over 20 years and we have spent thousands of dollars over those years. Her statement was, I don't care, honest people pay for what they break. I am not the kind to argue with an older , pitiful woman at an antique store. I was so angry at this point that I just said that I was going to leave. Then I was told that if I did not pay for the broken items, I was banned for life from their store. WOW! THEY NEED TO FIRE THIS NASTY, RUDE, ARROGANT, UNHAPPY WOMAN. I will be calling their owner there to explain, but I'm sure this woman will lie about what happened. What's going to happen if I go in there again,? Will this nasty woman call the police over a few broken overpriced Knick Knacks. What's happened to customer service the past 5-6 years? No one cares anymore. Oh well, I've vented enough.

She buys things for the kids all of the time. Recently, she found a dresser here for my Grands nursery. She told my kid about it and kid came to check it out and it was gone. Kid found it at another place like this in Collierville for like $250 more than it was here. The exact same one! Crazy thing is.... They bought it!
