I was in town for my wedding and ran by to have my antique wedding band and engagement ring cleaned (as well as all my other jewelry) and was lucky enough to have Amy assist me and she thoroughly inspected every piece and found that the wedding band had a broken prong on the very end (which I could have easily lost a stone) and they were able to have my ring repaired by the next day!! I stopped by Sissy's Log in Jonesboro for the first time and had an excellent experience. I have been welcomed by Steve, He was very knowledgeable and informative of the different models they have and helped better understand which model/size would fit me best. Unfortunately, the watch I was interested in was not available but Steve said he would keep me in mind and took my information down for when one become available. Overall I had a great experience at Sissy's Log in Jonesboro. Steve and the rest of the staff were very polite and I will definitely be coming in May to purchase one of timepieces he made tried while waiting for my first option to become available. This review is for my recent experience with my engagement. My fiance told me Ms. Vicki - who sold him the ring - needed to meet me. So, in we went. I have never felt so much excitement from a sales person! She welcomed me with a huge hug, smile, and squeal. Also, when I mentioned that it could take up to 2 weeks to get my ring resized, she was appalled. She introduced me to their master jeweler and had my ring back on my hand in an hour. Vicki was all around professional, welcoming, and made this special moment that much more so. Excellent jewelry store to find high end watches such as Rolex and Breitling, they carry these brands in addition to other fine jewelry. They don't carry Omega watches but neither does any jewelry store in Memphis. The store was clean and parking was readily available. A sales person met me at the door and was polite, knowledgeable and available to assist and answer any questions. Had a really nice experience the other day with Nicole regarding a certain brand of watch. Although the one I wanted was not in stock, she took my number and promised to call me when it came in. The next day, a similar watch arrived and she called. However, I had to pass. We spoke at length yesterday and she's on the lookout for me. I have no doubt she'll call me again. I appreciate her professionalism and I in general like this store. The employees are a whole lot friendlier than their competitor in Germantown who is selling 40 year old pre-owned Rolex watches $800 below the price of a new one. I rarely write reviews but my GF is from Memphis and I always like to visit the local jewelry stores to window shop, knowing well that most ADs probably already have a long list of clientele prioritized. I was pleasantly surprised when the sales rep, Connor, invited me to try on a watch that I wanted in two different sizes so that I knew which was the best fit even though non were available for sale. I'm glad I did as the size I thought I wanted was not the best fit. He went on to take my information down should one become available for me down the line. I was in during the Thanksgiving weekend, and I looked up. Some Rolex authorized dealers, and I found sissies on the web. so I called and I asked the gentleman that answered what kind of sport model Rolexes he has available and he told me that they do not discuss their inventory over the phone so that led me to believe that I should come in because he probably has something that I might be interested in, well I wasted my time when I got there, I asked the general manager that I talk to a gentleman and that he would not discuss the inventory over the phone so I'm here to see what they have and he told me they have nothing so I drove 30 miles round-trip from my hotel room just to be number one disappointed and I wasted my time. This is a joke for an authorized dealer to do this. I have owned many Rolexes in my lifetime and I've never seen an authorized dealer do that lure you in and they tell you they have nothing there a joke, and Rolex should be disappointed and having them as an authorized dealer . read more
