My siblings and I had been stressed and overwhelmed by our mom's hoarding for years, but the situation always felt way too big for us to handle. After she was hospitalized and moved into a skilled nursing facility, I suddenly needed to end her lease and completely clear out her apartment while also dealing with a million other things on her behalf. I knew I needed more than just a junk removal or moving company. I specifically wanted a senior move manager who could coordinate the sorting, donations, hauling, moving, and storage, because the thought of finding and managing all of those vendors myself was overwhelming. I found A Clear Path through the NASMM website and was immediately impressed that they were A+ Accredited. Their website also really resonated with me because they clearly understood the emotional side of hoarding and approached these situations with compassion. Mary reached out very quickly after I submitted my project details, and I was able to schedule a Zoom consultation for the next day through their online scheduling system. She was kind, responsive, and upfront that a project of this size would be costly. After our consultation, she emailed me a detailed proposal with the full price breakdown, so I knew exactly what to expect before moving forward. Communication was fast and easy over email, and everything from scheduling the consultation to paying the invoice online felt organized and streamlined. I was still really nervous on the first day because I didn't know what to expect, but Melody, Erika, and Tito arrived right at 9:00 AM and immediately got to work after I gave them a walkthrough. They were so thoughtful and reassuring, and they always checked with me about what should be kept, donated, or thrown away. They were also incredibly meticulous. They carefully combed through everything and set aside important documents, money, and sentimental belongings, including things I had not even thought to look for, like my mom's passport and my family's Social Security cards. Knowing they were paying such close attention gave me so much peace of mind. They worked through an enormous amount of stuff during a heat wave and remained positive and efficient throughout the project. I was honestly so inspired by their work ethic. Mary had estimated that the sorting would take two full days, but they finished early on the second day! A Clear Path also coordinated the hauling with Richard and his team at Cote Trash Hauling and Cleanup. The hauling had been estimated to take two days, but they arrived right at 7:00 AM and finished the entire job in one day! I was amazed by how quickly they worked, especially since the apartment was on the second floor and there was so much to remove. By the end of the third day, the apartment was completely emptied. Richard and his team moved everything we were keeping into storage, transported the donations, and took the remaining junk to the dump. There is absolutely no way I could have handled all of this on my own, especially while juggling work and everything else related to my mom's transition. I feel so lucky that the project went as smoothly as it did! I'm incredibly grateful to Mary, Melody, Erika, Tito, Richard, and everyone else involved. They took a situation that had felt impossible for years and helped my family finally move forward. I truly cannot recommend A Clear Path enough, especially to anyone facing an overwhelming downsizing, hoarding, or senior move situation!! read more

After both of my in-laws passed away, we needed help sorting through and clearing their home, which was filled with furniture, household items, collectibles and years of memories. It was an emotional and overwhelming process and we are so grateful we hired A Clear Path. Regina, Mary and the entire team were compassionate, organized, professional and incredibly hardworking. They treated our family and the home with genuine care while making a very difficult task feel manageable. The professionalism of the entire team was exceptional, and their work ethic was truly impressive. We feel incredibly lucky to have found them and cannot recommend A Clear Path highly enough. read more

I worked with A Clear Path on my elderly mother's move to a board and care facility. The move was complex, not only because my mother was downsizing from a large one bedroom apartment to a small bedroom, but it also involved bringing several pieces of furniture to a second address (my home) as well as donating multiple large items and hauling away trash. Planning and communication leading up to the move was excellent and much appreciated, as I was definitely overwhelmed as an only child who had to manage this alone. Jennifer assisted me with the pre-move planning and was compassionate and helpful. Josie assisted me on the day of the move, asking thoughtful questions, taking great care with my mother's belongings, and coming up with creative ways to arrange everything in the new space. All in all, it was an exceedingly positive experience. Highly recommend! read more

Great working with Clear Path. They made everything so easy, it was hard to start at first but once we got to it, Jocelyn and Josie made it happen. They were very careful with my family's feeling in every step of the way. They had a can do attitude, and never complained. Thank you ladies, it was better that I could have imagined. I wish I could post a picture, but I'm too embarrassed. Thanks again. read more

What the author/owner, Ms. Regina Lark, Ph.D. from USC impressed upon me from her YouTube training was that clutter is allowed into our space due to our misguided notion of either living in the past (holding onto an item due to whom we received it from, even if the item serves no function or purpose in our current space,) or that we are living in the future with holding onto items because we will need it "someday." Instead of truly examining our current needs and functionality of items in relation to our present space. I had previously lived in a 5 bdrm/3 bths house and had tried to squeeze every piece of furniture I owned into a 2 bdrm/1 bth apartment. After recently retiring, and with a loving intervention by my big sis, LYH, "A Clear Path" (ACP) came into my life. I previously had 4 different organizers (just individuals) who assisted me with mainly paperwork. I recall most sessions with prior organizers were tedious and labor intensive, with sorting all done by me as we went. ACP is different and is "on another level" sending me a Team of two lovely ladies, Josie and Jocelyn, who did pre-sorting of all paperwork and all items before submitting them to me for the final, keep/toss/shred/donate decree. They then organized and categorized my items into locations that "made sense." Both ladies even recovered lost money for me totaling $350 that had been "in the clutter." My life's trajectory has definitely changed because of the intervention from my big sis, LYH, and the carrying out of her project vision, effectuated by "A Clear Path" and with such a "top notch team." I was blessed to be assigned the Team of Josie and Jocelyn, who had the patience, compassion, and educated guidance I needed to get through some "letting go" of the past that were in lots and lots of stuff and paperwork. Not only was it a "saying good bye" to the past, it was making room to breathe, literally and figuratively, without the mental/emotional negative energy that was carried in that "stuff and paperwork." Thanks again, Josie and Jocelyn, for all your help and hard work. You're both Superstars in my book. I look forward to finishing 8 full days and 4 half days twice a month plus a 9-month maintenance with "A Clear Path." I feel so lucky to have such a thoughtful and generous big sis who sponsored/gifted me "A Clear Path." There is no other organizing company that can do such a thorough job as ACP, and with Superstars as the Team of Josie and Jocelyn. Honorable mention goes to responsive, reliable, and trustworthy "Cool Guy Junk Removal & Hauling" who had helped me move items previously throughout the years. He came in to save the day on moving out 2 recliners, 3 bookcases, an IKEA wardrobe, 3 dining room chairs, a kitchen cart, and a 2 drawer metal file cabinet, reconfigured/relocated multiple pieces of heavy furniture, gave novel ideas for placement of furniture, hauling out bags and bags of donations to Goodwill w/o receipts as I don't need it, and bags and bags of trash to the landfill with his trailer. He was on "stand by" exclusively for me so he would do a twice a day "haul away" during the initial 4 intensive ACP decluttering days. His rates are very reasonable. He previously had over 222 Five Star Reviews on Yelp under his former business of "Cool Guy Moving." He is based in Lancaster but if you have a job (big or small,) he's the man for the job. Let him know as soon as you have a need and he will rework his schedule to be able to help you. Total Rockstars, CGJR&H and ACP!! read more

Excellent work with my very stressed out mother due to a recent health crisis and unexpected death in the family. Our organizer Stacey allowed my mom the one sentimental collection of glasses but firmly guided her kindly through culling many other items. Hands down most organized and professional company (our second time in 6 years using A Clear Path) this was a LARGE move with different locations and even out of the country parts, they handled each step with thoughtfulness and sensitivity. Clearing the home of a deceased relative is not easy. I found it extremely difficult to get rid of items. It was difficult to remove the emotion from the task at hand. I contacted A Clear Path based on a referral because I needed help. Mary and Regina acted quickly, professionally and thoughtfully. They are communicative during the whole process making sure you are ready to proceed. The process was slowed on my end as a few relatives wanted to keep several items. Mary and Regina have a methodology that really works. In our case the auction generated enough funds to cover all of the fees incurred by their services. In the end our home was cleared without incurring any costs! Definitely give them a chance to sell their services. You won't be disappointed. read more

We were introduced to Regina through our realtor when my parents suddenly fell ill and we had to move the stuff out of their home; they had lived there for 42 years and accumulated five bedrooms worth of furniture and just general stuff, and the task was daunting. Regina was communicative and honest every step of the way, and I coordinated with her and her administrative and operational manager, Mary, who was also communicative and fantastic. They were straightforward about the process, the price, and expectations. Their team was phenomenal - prompt, efficient, and they even came in under the estimate. Our team leader was Kayla, who was nothing short of sensational. She was honest, very detail-oriented about stuff that I should review before getting rid of or donating, and suggestive of potential items that may hold resale value. I feel that the entire team was absolutely honest as they found some "buried treasures" and brought them immediately to my attention. I felt very comfortable not being on site during the majority of the process as Kayla would text me pictures of items or call me to discuss procedures for other property that she encountered at the home. Special shout out also to her partner Robyn, who was an absolute professional. These people work extremely hard and are dedicated and honest, and I could not have asked for a better organization for this process. Highly highly highly highly recommended. read more

A clear path saved my life and marriage! Sincerely, they made our move into a new home a healing experience. Instead of being stressed out, it was enjoyable. I was able to process and heal. Tina and Nicole were the two organizing that spent two days with me. They now know me better than anyone, haha. Tina had great ideas for maximizing space that I'd never think of. They listened to my thought and executed compassionately. Im definitely have them back for a regular maintenance of my space, because I can't live without professional organization... anymore than I can live without a cleaning person. read more

Regina and her team are life changers! We have had the ladies come and help everyone in our family clear clutter and get organized. They work 1-2-1 with each family member and solve the individual space issues. Tina specifically has been an incredible influence on our 13 year old daughter. She actually is excited to purge and looks forward to the organization lessons that Tina provides. Holiday decor? No problem! These ladies are my go-to for holiday decorating. The team decorated, organized and then came back after the holidays to put everything away. It makes this working mom's life a whole lot less hectic. I highly recommend A Clear Path to everyone looking to get organized! read more

If you want to have your life changed, look no further. I have used A Clear Path several times over the years, when I've had to clean out my entire apartment for a month infestation, when I had to move due to mold, when I had to pack up to move items into storage, when my parents died and I had to sort through their belongings, and even when I just needed to declutter my home and closet. Their team is professional, friendly, and they partner side by side with you to walk you through the process. They can guide you and chat with you as you decide what items to keep, and then they will remove and donate the items you don't want. Truly it can be as simple as pointing to something, saying "keep or toss", and then they take care of the rest! If you need to talk things out and need help deciding, they are patient and go at your speed. You can trust them with all of your personal items - luxury purses, jewels, even loose cash! Currently typing this as they move me into my three floor townhome. They have organized both bedrooms, bathrooms/vanities, closets, shoes, drawers, kitchen, living room, and basement/garage storage. There is nothing better than having and organized and tidy space to ease your mind, and save your time. Thank you endlessly A Clear Path, you've made the quality of my life so much better! read more

This review should have been written a while ago yet better late than never! I am real estate agent and my client was faced with losing both parents unexpectedly within a year plus having to sell the family home which was filled to the brim with STUFF. Regina knew exactly how to relate to my client who was very emotional and overwhelmed with all that was on her plate. Regina and her team are experts at organizing yet what gives them an edge above the rest is they got the job done while effectively managing my client's expectations and emotions during this challenging time. They were able to designate what items were of value and were sold at an estate sale and what items were for donation or trash. I recommend A Clear Path to all my clients needing organizational and moving support! read more

Regina saved my sanity and Tito made my garage look amazing! I had an appt. with an organizer who cancelled on me the day of and after I already pulled EVERYTHING out of my garage. I was in a panic! I reached out to A Clear Path and Regina responded very quickly and after explaining my situation she said, "let me see what I can do, I'm so bummed you have to deal with this" and a few minutes later she called to let me know I'd have someone at my house in a couple hours. Grateful and amazed fall short to describe how I felt. Tito arrived and immediately started helping me build the shelving units I purchased and within a couple hours we completed a job that would've taken me a couple days. It took me a couple of years to work up my courage to take the necessary step and hire a professional organizer/de-clutterer. I did my due diligence and settled on Regina at A Clear Path and I left the details up to her. Last Saturday she and her amazing assistant Mary "did" my kitchen. Now I won't say it wasn't painful and challenging. It was. I had to bite the bullet and let go of some stuff, stuff I have for years been keeping and hauling from house to house in expectation of some use someday. Truth be told, for the first few days after my session with Regina and Mary, I felt a little discombobulated. But ask me how I am now, a week later! My kitchen now just beckons! There are feet upon feet of empty counter-space. Drawers open easily and everything inside can be seen at a glance. The dishwasher can be emptied in just minutes because everything kitchen has a designated home-space. It is simply INTOXICATING. I feel like I've lost 25 pounds. And as I re-live in my psyche that Saturday kitchen session, in contemplation of soon moving on to other rooms with Regina and Mary safely steering, I am thinking not about what I no longer have stored in my kitchen, but what I have gained: space, room, freedom, visibility, and release from guilt. As for all the stuff that is no longer stored somewhere in my kitchen, if ever I truly need any of those things again (unlikely, but just in case), I can find one immediately at this nifty site that -- for a very modest charge -- organizes, catalogues, and keeps for me against my day of genuine need all such items: E-Bay. read more

The only bad thing about A Clear Path was missing them after the job was done! They felt like family after a week together. The entire team was delightful. Regina was a godsend planning upfront. Then her team swooped in, organized us, packed, moved and unpacked us. It was amazing. We honestly could not have survived doing it all ourselves. The added bonus was Regina's knowledge of disability needs for clients; our son has autism, and moved into his own home. She helped us make sure everything was accommodating to his needs. The were on time, fast, smart, collaborative and professional. I fell in love with the team: they are the most hard working, client focused crew I've met. I used Clear Path a few months ago . I was desperate for spring cleaning and organization - my house was full of just "stuff". Initially, I was hesitant for a couple of reasons - high pricing and strangers in my house going through my personal belongings. Regina assured and comforted me. She was the ONLY company that answered my phone call initially. She was very thorough in her business proposal for services, answered every question via text or telephone call and very professional throughout the entire process. Her people were the absolute BEST! Love them all - very personable, professional and good people. I hired them again the next day as my junk piles were endless. Now several months after the initial organization, I am requesting her crew back for the 3rd time for post remodeling organization. I can't say enough good things about A Clear Path , Regina and her staff. Absolutely the best and worth EVERY penny!! read more

I called Regina Lark to help organize a really cluttered area of my house. She was a amazing! She asked about my goals for the space - what did I want it to look like after it was clear? and then created the strategy to do the work and we got started. I made 100s of decisions that day about what to do with all my STUFF and it wasn't long before I could see that we making a lot of progress. no matter what issue bars you from obtaining the organized life you desire, Regina gets to the heart of the matter with a jovial approach which makes organization fun. among many other incredible traits... Regina is dedicated, witty, non-judgmental, and kind. exactly the type of individual you'd want on hand when navigating a 'closet purge'. Regina talks you through all of your decisions. she asked a lot of questions about my relationship to my "stuff" and because of that I was able to pay forward a lot of my stuff to Goodwill and Out of the Closet. Regina is amazing. She's a guru of organization. I asked for her help in organizing my home office, which I stopped working out of because the papers, drawers and closet were so out of hand. When she arrived, promptly on time, she got right to it. We started talking about what I was concerned about and she asked some very thought provoking questions throughout our time together - about things I was holding on to like, "Is this helping you become who you're going to be?" I felt as if she took it to the next level, not just getting things organized, but helping me learn to evaluate the things in my home - and provided me with insights and mental tools so that I can keep things organized. I'm an adult with ADHD. My husband is also an adult with ADHD. We work at home, doing miscellaneous crafts both for ourselves and for an online shop. For a while we lived alone, and that was chaotic enough, but about 6 months ago, a small fluffy white gremlin started screaming at us from a car engine and now we have a cat. Needless to say, organizing help has been something of a necessity in our lives. We started working with A Clear Path about a year and a half ago. Our first call was a desperate one, when we were living in a studio apartment and a former roommate of mine had left the place looking like a thrift store dumpster explosion. Our most recent - and by far most eventful - call was for moving assistance. All this time, we've sworn by this company, but I've always felt that you can judge a service best when something goes wrong. Well, we really had that opportunity this time, because the Powers That Be just would not let up on us - if there was an act of god that could be thrown at us, it happened. Tina did an amazing job of leading the charge to make the process...as smooth as possible. Which still felt more like it belonged on a sitcom than real life, but compared to how bad it WANTED to be, I'm not entirely convinced there are no supernatural influences in play at this company. First, I got sick days before moving. I woke up one morning, all excited to get packing - then I tried to breathe and...if breathing wasn't necessary for my survival I would call that a mistake. They picked up the slack where sickness stopped me. Next - we were moving from a 103-year old building, immediately next to a park. The place is perpetually at risk of bugs. Management really tries to stay on top of it, but if one neighbor drunkenly leaves a piece of pizza out overnight - BOOM, walls full of bugs. Unsurprisingly, they found their way into our belongings despite our attempts at avoiding this. We got guidance on how to handle the situation - most notably, we got help prioritizing what to throw out and what to clean to manage our costs...and assistance setting up an arrangement of bug bombs powerful enough to kill 90% of the problem immediately (and also set off the smoke detectors - sorry, new neighbors!). Then, several of my tools just...decided not to work where I needed them most. Didn't matter; we built a contingency plan for after I got things working AND came up with some nice temporary solutions - easy to transfer from, and easy to use in the meantime. Finally, all this happened during finals week...despite all the chaos, I still nailed the finals! So, after all this, we have a nice new home - photo-ready where it counts, and focused on function above all (but still looking pretty nice!) where we need it. It's definitely an organization system built for us - not for a magazine, not for Some Generic Person, but for us. In conclusion, if you need organization services, pick A Clear Path. read more

She helped us purchase appropriate materials and containers, and helped us create a system to keep things in order. You can tell she brings passion and genius to her work. Regina is uplifting and motivating just speaking with her on phone. The information I was provided with was a one stop shop. I was referred to this company maybe 3 weeks to a month ago. I did not call. I went against my own promise to myself and asked 4 people if they wanted to help me out and I would pay cash. Not one person out of 4 in one week of which confirmed with me,returned text messages, etc. That is what I get for doing something that has been done so much in the past and Iwas always unhappy with the work ethic. I found my referral in my text messages of which I had to search for. I made the call and it was the best referral as well as call I have made to get the job done. These ladies are educated true professionals who know what they are doing. Robyn showed up right on time and we got to work. I explained what I needed and that was that. I was shocked that I did not have to babysit an adult. I was working with a true professional. I will definitely will be using these fabulous women again very soon. The best decision I have made to educate myself on being organized. Our goal is to simplify and organize so that we can show me where my huge time wasters are as well as what with. I am excited to learn organizational skills that will benefit my life with knowledge and growth. I highly recommend this company if you would like the job done correctly. I cannot express enough how fabulous and helpful Regina and A Clear Path are. This is NOT a one size fits all formulaic approach. Rather it is individualized and tailored to the situation and goals of each individual and the people in the household. Regina worked with my family and I to find out the underlying causes of our dis-organization and clutter. From there she came up with a plan and off we went. She not only physically helped de-clutter and organize our space, but gave us tips for maintaining it and ways for us, as a family, to think in a more cohesive and organized manner to have a sense of control and confidence moving forward.
