We moved across country after living in a large family house with a studio I used to work in and teach art classes.We have an apartment and a large storage unit of my own artwork and family things we can't part with. Downsizing is a very difficult job but they made it much easier. They did more than expected like repairing some things, putting some furniture together and making design suggestions that I am eternally grateful for. Before working with the OCD experience, I used the "pile it up" system on my desk. I used the "just stick it in the garage" system for storing with stuff I didn't want to deal with. This is my second time using Justin and his wonderful team. We are moving again with them. They have been packing along with decluttering as we go. This time we have a better idea of what we need and so do they. I had a particularly tough time after a long illness and then an accident, I lost all sense of where anything was in our place and piles began to accumulate since I couldn't bend down to pick things up or put things away. It was more important to focus on getting better and just make it through each day. To survive my husband and I just let everything go. That said, as I was recovering, the clutter became oppressive and began weighing us down. I was becoming frustrated and exhausted looking at piles and unable to find anything. Justin and his crew saved us from the evil piles and the crazy making "dump room" that was once my art studio. I had no idea what I had anymore, clothing, dishes, or the mayo we kept buying and then seemed to lose track of (we have quite the stash now that we know where it is). I love working with them. They respect my wishes while gently coaxing me to get rid of things that don't fit, haven't used, the many food containers that no longer have lids and the 20 plus measuring cups I have. His staff is so nice and kind while remaining professional and doing an incredible job. I look forward to their arrival even though much of the work we do together is difficult. They put up with my indecision and my bad jokes. I will also say that there have been some particularly meaningful and joyful experiences that have come from working with them. They found precious mementos I thought were lost forever. After years of ill health I had lost track of all the art I had made over a 40 year career. They catalogued everything and took photos of all the work that was in storage. When they sent me the file with the work, I started to cry. It was art I had created over the years that I had forgotten about. I saw the progress and changes I had made over the years and all the little family drawings of my kids and husband over the years. Now that I am better I can use my studio again instead of just shutting the door and hoping that I can use it some day if I could only walk in there without tripping over everything. I don't seem to have the ability to be organized but since I have Justin and Jordan, my special organizer friend from OCD, I no longer have that overwhelmed and frustrated, angry feeling in the pit of my stomach. I. can stop wasting. precious energy on trying to find things and do the things that are important to me because I have Justin and Jordan and the rest of the the crew. I expect that I will have them back repeatedly because it turns out having things organized and within reach keeps me happy and sane and able to make art again. read more

I can't say enough about how OCD is a life-changing Experience. A little more than a week before a scheduled move, a death in the family brought us out of town. Upon our return, we had four days to pack everything we owned. Justin and the OCD team came in, organized, packed and labeled everything in our house, and when the movers came, they knew exactly where everything was supposed to go. That saved so much time and confusion that the cost of the move was hundreds of dollars less than estimated. I've used OCD Exp. a few times now and I can say it's an exceptional what they do. I had rented my clients home last minute and needed everything out within a couple of days. They had someone out the next day. They took pictures/inventory of EVERYTHING. They came out the next month and put everything back. They're so detailed to the point that when even something as small a razor came up missing they took account of it and asked if I was aware. Moving is stressful whether it is across town or across the country, so when I had to do this formidable task by myself this past June, O.C.D. Experience was recommended to me to provide organizational and moving support. I didn't know what that meant..but trusted my reference and after an initial call and visit from Justin Klosky, founder and CEO of this company, felt I was in good hands. That turned out to be an understatement. Justin's OCD team took compete control, making sure they walked through my home to understand what I was keeping or selling, how I had my rooms set up, what needed special care, as well as coordinating with the Movers to make sure boxes and packing materials were delivered on time. A team of 2 were assigned to me and showed up on time for 2 days of organizing and packing, making me feel as comfortable as possible, then supported on the Move date making sure all the pieces and boxes went to correct places, and finally unpacking and completely setting up the new house over the last 2 days.
