One bedroom with very light, low pile carpet had areas stained treated that did not come totally clean, and areas that appeared clean immediately after cleaning have "reappeared" in exactly the same place/size in a matter of a few weeks. This carpet has the "waterproof backing", so perhaps that's a factor? Not sure, But I will go back to steam cleaning for that room after one try with Chem-Dry.

When Mac showed up, he was polite, professional and courteous as the seller was moving out, and we were moving in. He was in the middle. We just wanted to start a schedule where they were cleaned once a year to keep them nice. I spent over $1,400 on the carpet. They ruined it. The couch was fine and no damage was done. The less than one year old rug was destroyed. I even called them with the info on the tag to explain what it was made out of first and they said no problem. Since it was winter they took my rug to the shop and then forget about me. Weeks passed and when I called to ask if they were ever going to bring it back they said yes and brought me back a still damp rug. After walking on it for few days it became dingy, dirty and crushed. They came back out for a redo in my driveway and it looked a bit better but it was destroyed. 6 months later I am still upset every time I pass my rug and wanted to warn others to make sure it comes back dry as I have learned a very expensive lesson.
