I have been waiting approximately three to four months for medical equipment ordered through the…read moreVA. Universal Mobility received most of the items but said they would not schedule delivery until the final item arrived. The biggest problem has been the complete lack of communication. I have called repeatedly, left multiple messages, and almost never receive an answer or a return call. Last month, I finally reached someone who blamed the issue on problems with their phone system and said it was being fixed. A month later, nothing has improved. The VA has now confirmed that Universal Mobility has all of my items and is supposed to contact me to arrange delivery. Interestingly, the VA can reach them at the same phone number without difficulty, but my calls continue to go unanswered and my messages are ignored. This equipment was ordered because it is medically necessary. Making a disabled veteran wait months while refusing to communicate is unacceptable. I would not recommend this company based on the delays, poor customer service, and lack of accountability.

I have been using a…read moreCPAP machine for over a year now, and each month, I'd get a call from 'AdaptHealth' asking me if I needed any supplies, and whenever they would send them, thanks to the Insurance I had (UMR), it was always covered with little to no copay on my part. Now all of a sudden, I am receiving notices of payments due of anywhere between $40-$160?! Total BS. This place is exactly what others are saying, and now that I have read others reviews, it doesn't surprise me in the least that they are being sued. Turn off the AutoPay everyone and buy your own supplies elsewhere that won't cost you hundreds of dollars. Seriously, my most recent (and by recent, I am referring to January, 2026), I had ordered three new face masks, the little rubber things that go over your face with the plastic hole to attach the hose to...for all three of these, the total cost came to 105 dollars; $35 PER MASK. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! I can find the same mask available elsewhere for under $20. "Oh, but you won't be getting the same healthy, "medically approved" quality mask if you do that and don't let us replace it for you..." they say at AdaptHealth....FORGET IT, we're onto you and aren't going to be fooled anymore! Collections? You threaten us with Collections? I'd love to see you actually do that...it won't happen. Again, stick to your suspicions and to your gut feelings everyone and DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ANYMORE!
