A Caring Place seems not to care at all. My loved one has had several medical emergencies and it takes many hours for a nurse to arrive. One of those times, the nurse said that they would not be there until the next day, around noon, then called to say that they would be an hour late. Given the severity of the emergency, a doctor should have visited by now but has not. We cannot be sure that the events were not related to the changes their doctor made to medications. NEVER EVER LET THESE PEOPLE TAKE CARE OF YOUR LOVED ONES. DO NOT TRUST THE OWNER CLAUDIA. She is only caring when convienent. She is very unprofessional. And i should have sued her over her employee who went through my stuff until she found my medical marijuana. YES I HAVE A PRESCRIPTION. Their employee Larissa TOOK 4 xs the prescription and vomited all over my house. Claudia credited me $30 and said "i dont know how much it costs adding "ive never touched it in my life" like she is so superior. Sorry both my knees are torn. Evette who came for the initial set up is very nice but in no way is she an accurate representation of this business. We later found out that Larissa had done all sorts of weird things. Changing the containers things were in. Relocating things from one room to the other in no logical order. Larissa called and text my husband and I for two days after this happened. We were in the process of moving and this just screwed up things more. To be fair, Jessie who we tried for one day was very good. Claudia is just horrible at customer relations. read more

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM! Do NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. THEY STOLE MONEY FROM ME! I fell ill and was left disabled. I lost most of my motor skills and needed a caregiver to help me. We interviewed with Claudia, the owner. We were new to this process and was looking for a company that took In-Home Support Services. They told us that they would and that we would need to pay and full and get reimbursed since IHSS pays later. My mom agreed and placed it on her credit card because we really needed help with me and she would put it back once she was reimbursed. Claudia then then told me to report to Maria. Maria became my point of contact. Maria contacted me to submit review. She told me in writing that it took a few days after we submit for the funds to be deposited. We received our first reimbursement in October but just for one week. I thought that was off because we did a month worth of approvals at first. We got another reimbursement in November. We were then told now that they are checks and they take longer. Even though in the beginning it was a deposit. They then ended services with me claiming they didn't have any caregivers at the moment. Maria then asked me if i would like to keep submitting time sheets so she can give me the money. I didn't tell her no because i felt like it was a scam and we needed our reimbursement so. I told her we would talk about it at a later time to see if she would give any of the money back before we took further action. We got another payment in December. We had to reach out multiple times to receive our next payments. Every time was a different excuse. I tried reaching out to the owner and she told me that i need to figure that our with Maria. Maria even tried to put in timesheets for time not worked and I then told her i will not approve anything not worked. She asked if i was sure and I assured her i was very sure. She even tried to turn the situation around on us saying she was trying to help us. We asked her if you provided a service and she said yes. We didn't ask for any favors. Finally she hit us with the laziest excuse, the state took back the funds and she had to contact them to reissue the check. We received one last payment and when I reached out about the rest of the money, she said she would check on the check and she has not responded to any other message after. We are still owed a lot of money. read more

Strongly advise anyone who is thinking about using this provider to stop immediately. The care takers are unreliable. The owner, Claudia is extremely unprofessional. Claudia doesn't return phone calls or emails in a timely fashion. When care takers calls in, the back up plan is to send another care taker who isn't familiar with the patient or their needs which allows for additional disruption for the patient and family members. We understand people need to call in sick but multiple times in such a short time period, is unacceptable. As a family, we want our family member to have the best support when we are unavailable due to work this is why we screen organizations to decide on the right company to provide the best care. Caring Place is not a good option please rethink your decision. read more
