My tire pressure light was on and wouldn't go away so I stopped in to AC Tire clinic to ask for help. I only waited about 10 minutes before they asked me to pull my car around and they checked each tire. They were able to set my tire pressure at the correct weight and sent me on my way without any charge. Thank you for your help AC Tire! read more

Took 10 minutes for someone to talk to me then told me to put my name down on a long list just to look at what I needed done. FYI I just needed one tire taken off a rim and could've left it with them. Bad attitude I'll take my shit somewhere else. read more

My son Billy introduced me to AC more than 15 years ago, they connected over guitars! Since then, AC has been my go-to re: used tires and state inspections! When two shady-looking tires show up at the worst time of the month, it can shock the fattest wallet!. AC is kind and when you are able to talk to an actual owner of an establishment, you can tell if you're just another dollar bill or not. AC has always been respectful to me as an elder, today, that is meaningful. I've had used tires from AC that looked comparable to almost new tires and they lasted. I pray that he keeps his business within our community for others who can't drop 400$ for a new tire! Thank you AC for sticking around through the good and bad times! read more

A funny thing happened to me on the way to a police event for fallen officers-I got a nail in my rear passenger tire. I left my house in Holly Ridge and I was traveling south on 17 when I discovered something was amiss. I called a friend of mine who recommended AC tires. It was a Saturday morning and they were not opened yet so I waited yet but when 8:00 a.m. rolled around I approached someone opening the shop. Sure enough, it was AC himself and I told him of my dilemma and he took care of me right away. I pulled my car into the bay and he repaired my tire and got me back on the road fast! I expressed my thanks, and I followed up with a thank you card because I was so grateful to get to this event in a timely manner. I also hope this review will let folks know what a kind and helpful businessman he is. read more

I've been going for years and he has always done me right. It's not like I am a fixture but I have made 5 or 6 transactions and I have only positive things to say. read more

Took my car there to get tires put on and the 2 young guys that work there are the ones who worked on my car. One of the tires that were put on started leaking so I took it back and talk to the owner about the situation (mind you he never looked at my car once the first time I was there except through the window in the office) and showed him how they scraped up the outside of the rims on both of the wheels the tires were replaced on he denied that they were not at fault. Then they take the tire off that was leaking to find the leak to find out that my rim is bent on the inside which was not like that before me taking my car there to get tires. Still no accountability or compensation for their fault. If you want trust worthy mechanics I DO NOT RECOMMEND TAKING YOUR CAR THERE!!!!! read more

No pride in what they do, sorry as hell mechanics. Give him 2 stars only for the price. If you want your wheel to look like it was curbed after just getting a tire put on then go to them. read more

A C Tire Clinic - Tires Near Me - Hampstead, North Carolina

Stopped in here a couple years back with a slow leak in a tire, they repaired it for free! Called today to get a price on a couple of tires and the lady answering the phone was unprofessional and seemed a bit put off with my questions. We all have bad days, I know, hence my 3 star rating. Prices are good and there always seems to be a lot of cars there... read more

They keep hanging up and he clearly talked to me the 4th time I called asked me for the size of my tire and I told him then he hung up I called back 2 times he answered I could tell he was on the phone bc I could here him breathing and he hung up both times again read more

Great folks fast and easy. Has good assortment of tires, and prices are fair. Independent shops are the best!

Went in to have flat repair. Done in minutes! Super friendly. Great price. Definitely recommend.

Bought 4 brand new tires from them and they bent all 4 rims putting the tires on. I know there is no way they are gonna be held responsible because he states clearly on a sign in his office that they are not liable for rim damage. I would not recommend this place to anyone their shop is garbage and they obviously did not balance my tires correctly because they bent the rims and did not say anything. read more

service was terrible. stood there for 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging me. i actually was skipped in line as well. pretty much a lazy backwoods business with a bunch of weirdos with terrible people. Also there's a 5$ charge for using a card. place is a dump. I'll walk the extra 30 minutes to Wilmington before I ever let these dunder heads touch my truck. read more

I would give 0 stats if that were an option. The owner pushed me, when he became frustrated that his worked stripped my lugnuts and I asked him to just take responsibility for damaging them. He then pushed me and told me to get out of his work area that I had Been in for 20 minutes prior to his anger at the scenario. In shock that I had to call police. Will update when I am done here. Waiting for the delivery of the lugnuts that they stripped. Instead of owning it, he got physical and unprofessional. Crazy day here read more

Took so long and customer service is terrible. Waited almost 3 hours for an oil change.

Website said they closed at 5, I arrived there at 4:15 and was told rudely they were closing for the day And could not plug/patch a tire. So I took my business to Holly Ridge Tire Pros. They gave me prompt service for a reasonable price. Most of all they appreciated my business with them. Go to Holly Ridge Tire Pros you won't be disappointed read more

It is being run like a clown show right now. They have one tech trying to run 3 service bays all by himself. They have two girls behind the counter that have no idea how long it will take the tech to get to your vehicle. I came in at 9am to get 4 tires mounted and an oil change and was told it would be about a 2 hour wait... 6 hours later when he finally got to my car I was informed I had to choose between getting the tires mounted and getting the oil change even though I had waited for 6 hours already and it was only mid afternoon and not close to closing time. Wouldn't give me a good reason why he wouldn't change the oil even though the car was already on the lift. Very unorganized and yes their prices are cheap, maybe too cheap is the reason for the problems getting help... Not a pleasant experience... read more

We've been here a few times and they usually do a great job! But yesterday we went there and the young kid with the longer hair changed out our tire and when he put it back on he did not tighten the lug nuts all the way. And of course you know we didn't think to check it cause they had done good before. But lets just say this morning on our way out to town we had to stop at our local shop so they could find out why are car was shaking so bad. Well we got there just in time cause if we would have kept driving our tire would have fallen off cause the lug nuts were about to pop off. So just check your tires before you leave and make sure they are tightened up all the way! But other than that we have not had any problems. So i'm not going to be to harsh. Stuff happens like that all the time. He might have got distracted and forgot to make sure they were all tightened down good idk. But still he should have realized to double check and make sure! read more
