    Awesome service! First time customer now a customer for life. Sunday, 9/25/23, my outside AC…read moreunit started making screeching noises so I shut it off to prevent further damage. Being a senior living alone has its challenges but no AC is not an option. Monday morning, the company I used in the past couldn't get me in for days. I googled ac repair & Native Heat & Air caught my eye. I prefer to use a local business so I called without much hope of getting a same day appointment. I was pleasantly surprised when the lady said someone could come out today & call me 30 minutes ahead. Within 15 minutes she called to inform me Josh was heading my way! Praise God, that was a relief! Josh arrived, very cordial & professional young man, assessed the problem & gave a cost estimate. I was blown away by the reasonable price quote. He didn't try to sell me extra parts like other businesses. He was very much on point with this is the problem & I can replace it. I had complete confidence he was looking after my interest. BUT. to my surprise within an hour it was fixed and no charge. They have done everything they said they would do (and then some) every time. I will not change air conditioning companies again.     We have a home in Horseshoe Bay that we also rent out, and recently our A/C stopped cooling. What…read morefollowed was a frustrating experience with multiple companies--our regular provider misdiagnosed the issue, and an AHS-dispatched technician couldn't locate the problem. A third company guessed it was the coil, and AHS ultimately denied the claim as "undetermined." After escalating with AHS, they sent Lee from KSR Air--and that's when everything changed. From the moment he arrived, Lee was professional, thorough, and clearly experienced. Within an hour, he accurately diagnosed multiple issues: a leak behind the wall caused by a nail and a bad compressor. (And for the record, the coil was perfectly fine--contrary to what the previous three companies said.) Kyle from KSR Air went above and beyond, working directly with Carrier and AHS to navigate warranty and insurance challenges. We even learned that in Texas, since 2021, manufacturers must honor warranties for subsequent homeowners--something no one else mentioned. They drove over an hour each way without complaint, replaced the compressor, fixed the leak, and handled two claims--all within 3 days, during peak A/C season. It's easy to blame service companies when dealing with home warranty frustrations, but KSR Air proved that expertise and integrity still matter. Our AC wasn't cooling so we filed for service…read more Living out in the country you never know who AHS will send or how long it will take for them to get to us. AHS selected KSR. KSR contacted me the next day and they showed up they day after that. They found out it was low freon (as we figured). This isn't our first rodeo with low freon. Most HVAC companies put in freon to spec, check that we are getting cold air and call it good. KSR went into our attic to check air temp in the duct and found that the company that installed the unit had put the temperature sensor in the wrong place on the unit. They corrected that (took about a minute) and said it would keep the unit from kicking off early. We are very happy.
