Fantastic dentist! Dr. Doug Forbes definitely goes the extra mile. He absolutely saved my smile…read more I've been going to the cheap chain dentists for years and wow they did a terrible job. Dr. Doug was referred to me by a longtime patient for a crown and he noticed some things that the chain dentists did not. I was about to lose a tooth because of a bad filing from years ago. I've been to Aspen dental twice since that filing and they never noticed that I had a bunch of decay. Long story short he did a very thorough and wonderful job. His office was spotless, staff was amazing too. I highly recommend this place for all your dental needs.

I scheduled an appointment with this dental office a few weeks ago, unfortunately due to a heavy…read morework schedule I called the day of my appointment (three hours ahead) to cancel. I was told that I would be charged a 50 dollar fee. I decided to stay up after working a twelve hour shift so that I could make the appointment. Upon arrival I was met with a condescending and down right rude attitude from Amy. There was a discrepancy with my insurance, therefore I had my company insurance rep call and he was met with the same level of attitude. After a few minutes of being subjected to her attitude, I decided to cancel my appointment and look for a dentist elsewhere. Based off of her actions alone I will not recommend this office.

Mr Flynn is a good dentist. Had a cleaning done and there was no real wait either. He took his…read moretime and explained everything thoroughly. However whoever handles the billing was very rude whenever I called a month later to dispute an item that was billed and not covered by insurance. My insurance company covers a certain type of x-ray (bitewing) and they gave me another type when I went in for my cleaning. When I went in for the cleaning I told the receptionist (a very sweet older woman) that I get an annual cleaning, exam, and xray covered by my insurance company. A month later, I received a bill from my insurance company saying they would not cover the x rays since they were not the bitewing kind. I called the dentist office to ask why I wasn't told that type of x ray would not be covered prior to taking them, I was told by the billing person that it's my responsibility to call the insurance company first and ask what type of x ray is covered and what is not and to tell the dentist. This was the first time i've ever heard of this as I've never had to call an insurance company to find out this type of information beforehand. Having no medical background I would assume someone at the dentist office should advise me of the various types of xrays they have and what would and would not be covered prior to taking them. The insurance paid out $161 for my cleaning and I ended up having to pay $50 for the xrays out of pocket.

Today, I had another great visit with my Dental Technician Angel Sent from Heaven to Save Me from…read moreDentures: Ashley. I am not one who fears my trips to the dentist at all, but this practice could cure anyone who is. No lie, I look forward to going each time and it's not just for the free toothbrush/floss/travel size Colgate at the end of the visit. But, I do like that, too. Who doesn't love a tiny pack of floss for their purse? I digress... The entire staff makes you comfortable as soon as you walk in the door. My trips should be awful because I have had gum issues for years. But, Ashley and I worked on a plan to get my oral health back on track. Dr. Orman helped, too, of course. I mean, the whole office rocks, but Ashley? She was incredibly helpful by recommending products that I could use outside of my office visits to help improve my "you got some bad gums/build-up and bone loss" situation. That means I could be losing teeth and getting partials or (gasp!) dentures if I don't get my act together. Dentures? Ewwww, no. I am far too vain for that. So, today? Ashley's investment in me as a patient and my dedication (floss, people, for the love of all things holy, FLOSS!) has me back on track. It's been a journey, but I will still be eating corn on the cob in the future with my own choppers and not worrying about where "I put my teeth," when company comes over. How embarrassing, right? And, FYI, if you have gum issues and don't take care of them? Just go ahead and prepare for dentures. Or, better idea: Go see the folks at this practice; do not wait any longer. They aren't super fancy, but they are super fantastic.
