I'm deathly afraid of going to the dentist. But everyone here made my visit pleasant and I'm no longer deathly afraid. I'll be going back

There are so many options out there wth dentists who are a lot more caring than them.I have seen others commented in the past about similar issues, but oddly, any reviews that are not a 5 star review, may disappear shortly after. I won't be surprised if my review will be removed as well. Very sketchy. It has been a few years since I was treated but I waited until now to write this because firstly, I owe them this honest review and secondly, I was scared during that time that if I wrote this, they would discontinue my treatment or God only knows, what could have happened. In addition to several other things, I also had an implant placed & it wasn't something that you could just let other dentists continue. I spent over 13K at Dr. B. Springer's office. To be fair, his dental work was acceptable but everything else, not so much. My family and I were referred to him by our neighbour and initially, everything was great until one day, I kindly requested to have all my restorations on the upper quadrants to be completed on the same day. I made the appointment for the day before Chinese New Year because it is a Chinese superstition that in order to avoid the possibility of physical harm (accidents, illnesses etc), people should get any type of treatment that involved "blood" before Chinese New Year. I made the appointment with the receptionist, explained my situation, and she assured me that she alloted enough time for the whole treatment to be done that day. When I was in the chair, that was when the doctor told me he only had enough time to do one. When I explained to them how important it was for me to get the uppers done, he & his assistant just laughed at my face & even made a rude comment about Chinese New Year. When the receptionist came back to talk to us about the schedule, she denied everything and was adamant that she scheduled correctly. From that day onward, my nightmare with them began and each time I come in, she would 100% ignore me, even when I greeted her. After my treatments were done and money taken, they then mailed me a letter stating they would no longer see me. Even if I had concerns or problems with something he did, they said I would need to see someone else. Unethical & unprofessional. Be careful of your treatment plans and your bill after because often, you will be billed higher than quoted. I understand, being in the dental industry myself, treatments may change as there is always a chance they may find other concerns during treatment. But to that extreme? Highly unlikely. When they saw my sister in law, they offered to do all quadrants during the same visit and she had a lot to be done. When she said she wasn't comfortable with having her whole mouth treated in one sitting, they ended up referring her to another dentist. Who really wants their whole mouth to be numb at the same time? I have learned with them, it is either their way or the highway. They are not great in accepting responsibilities nor listening to our opinions. One instance after our misunderstanding, because I opinionated on something, Dr. Springer grabbed my crown, and said I can just take it somewhere else, who does that? This was in the middle of my procedure! Of course, I just chose to keep my mouth shut especially since we were literally midway of the treatment. I do NOT recommend this place at all and if you decide to see them, depending on your wealth and ethnicity, GO AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Tammy Scott promptly scheduled my bridge procedure for March 5. During the procedure, Dr. Noonan carefully explained every step and let me know what to expect, which helped put me at ease. I have had severe dental anxiety ever since a root canal 35 years ago, so his patience, gentle approach, and willingness to take his time meant a great deal to me. In my 42 years of adulthood, Dr. Noonan is without question in the top 1 percent of dentists I have ever experienced. He made the entire experience very comfortable and accommodating. I also appreciated the office environment. Because of my diabetes, I needed to use the restroom several times during my visit, and both restrooms were exceptionally clean and well maintained. I am very grateful for the excellent care I received and would highly recommend Dr. Noonan and his team to anyone looking for professional, compassionate dental care. After they caught that I had a pretty nasty abscess, treatment began and an extraction was scheduled. During the procedure, Summer made sure I was comfortable and calm. Dr. P explained the procedure and administered numbing agents. I didn't feel even a twinge, and just the smallest amount of pressure, and she was done. I had to ask if she removed the tooth! I love the staff and, before my procedure, they called me to ask how I was feeling and if the swelling and pain from the infection were clearing up. Best all around, do if you are looking for a warm practice that will take care of you, Prestwood is for you!

I was in a temporary from Sept. to Dec. because they had staffing issues and couldn't get me in for my permanent.I was in so much pain. Dr. Panvelker said it was infected. I got a second opinion and Dr. Criser said there was no present infection and that my temporary was not shaved correctly causing my actual tooth to show. I got the gap filled by prestwood and I eventually got my permanent on which made it better but it was still sensitive. Time passed and it ended up becoming painful. They kept wanting to refer me to get a root canal. I went and got a second opinion, found out my whole tooth is split in half. The tooth has to be completely removed. A root canal is not possible. Previously when I would come in due to pain, Dr. Panvelker kept saying "I told you it had the possibility of failing." With her being the professional, I don't know why she would allow the crown to be put on if it was more than likely going to fail. $800+ down the drain not even a year later.
