The service takes them 10 minutes, and instead of speaking to me or acknowledging that their glue isn't strong enough, Dr. Henley sent the receptionist in after almost an hour waiting to try to charge me again. My family and I are finding a new dentist who has respect for their clients time & money

Ok, I was hoping to be able to write a great 5-star review for this place. I have a huge fear of…read morethe dentist, so finding one that can really help me sounds like a dream. I was reading great reviews, and it was great. An appointment was made for a few weeks from now. I had called and told them that I can only see one of the dentists who is in my insurance and network. I had an issue with one of my teeth and called to see if I could get in any earlier. I came to find that the doctor I was scheduled with was not on the website anymore. I asked the person on the phone, and they were very confused about who I was talking to. I come to find that they just started. I understand that they are new, but as a business, would it be good to let them know that there were three doctors there and have left recently? Also, really, you can not call your patients and let them know that their doctor has moved to another location. I would have gone out there and then realized that and had to leave, and it's a long drive for me. It was not right not to inform them participants of a huge change like that, and on top I even have in my file that I can only see one as of my assurances. So I have found the doctor that I wanted to see and can now get in even earlier, so that is a plus, but really, please inform your customers before the day of the appointment of a huge change like that.

I recently moved here to SC and left a very nice dental clinic and was hoping that I'd get nice…read moredental clinic as well. After doing some searching in the North East area, I finally found Rice Creek Family Dentistry. Staff: Very polite and very sweet. The receptionist took her time with me on the phone to make sure she got all my information and even got me in sooner appointment. When you walk in your greeted right away and didn't have to wait very long to get seated in. My hygienist was very nice and made me feel very comfortable. Facility : When you walk in, it has that "home" feeling. Each room has a tv for your enjoyment and the place was very sanitary. I definitely found a new Dental clinic. Nice staff, Knowledgeable and friendly!

I scheduled an appointment with Rice Creek Family Dentistry on April 15, 2026, based on a $79 new…read morepatient special that was communicated to me when booking. This was the reason I chose this office. I took time off work and made arrangements because I was concerned about my dental health and wanted to be seen promptly. Less than 24 hours before my appointment, I was contacted and told the $79 promotion would not be honored and that I would need to pay around $330 instead. This was never disclosed when I scheduled. Because of this last-minute change, I lost work time and experienced a delay in getting care while dealing with dental pain. This experience felt misleading and unprofessional. I cannot recommend this office based on how this was handled.

They could not have shown anymore concern or been more accommodating. As a new patient they would work me in if I was there by 9:00 AM. I arrived to a wonderful reception. The staff was friendly and thorough as they set me up to see the dentist. The problem tooth was evaluated by Dr. Cook and removed due to significant decay. The cranky tooth that caused me so much pain is now but a distant memory. Thank you to the entire team for all that was done to help me. I appreciate each of you individually. As a team you are awesome.

I had been seen at this office before and my previous dentist was aware of my dental fluorosis and concerns regarding the appearance and condition of my teeth. Unfortunately, since she has moved, my recent experience with Dr. Cook left me extremely anxious and uncertain. I went in regarding a tooth I had been told appeared chipped/exposed rather than obviously decayed. During the procedure, the atmosphere noticeably shifted and became very quiet, which immediately made me feel like something was wrong. Dr. Cook continued drilling, the tooth became significantly smaller, and I eventually had to ask if something was wrong before being told the tooth had "crumbled" and that I may now need a crown down the line. I was visibly upset afterward and asked to speak with the manager. Although she initially came to talk to me and walked me back to the room, she left before Dr. Cook came in to further explain the situation, despite how overwhelmed I clearly was. I also had another area smoothed down between two teeth after mentioning it felt rough, but since then that area has become sensitive and painful as well. I paid $517 for two fillings and left with more uncertainty, anxiety, and insecurity about my smile than confidence. At this point, I am mentally exhausted from the situation and honestly do not even feel comfortable returning for another follow-up. I understand unexpected things can happen in dentistry, but communication, reassurance, and patient trust matter just as much as the procedure itself. Sadly, this experience felt very different from the care I previously received at this office.
