I called Myrtle Beach Animal Hospital and they saw Bella that same day. Dr. Mike suspected a herniated disc and ordered crate rest and gave me meds to take home. I can't say enough about Dr. Mike. He was kind, considerate, compassionate, and called periodically to check on Bella. He even walked me to my car to show me how to lift Bella into my car to prevent any more injury to her back.

I took her to see Dr. Tom, not knowing if it was too late to help her. He did ten PT sessions, fixed her stance and gait, and we signed on for ten more of hydrotherapy sessions. All were covered by Fiona's Healthy Paws insurance at 80%. Thank God for pet insurance! The moment we entered the building for our PT sessions, Fiona acted like she was going to Disneyworld. She loves this place and Dr. Tom! Fiona is now chasing squirrels and running at full speed, fully recovered. I'm tempted to sign her up for some Happy Dog sessions because she misses the sessions and Dr. Tom so much. This is a first class practice. I heard many sad tales from other pet owners about car accidents and failed TPLO's and saw three-legged pets regaining mobility and dogs of all sizes regaining their confidence and mobility. He is a miracle worker, and the dogs love his staff.
