The cleanliness of the environment is MOST important to me, and this team takes it seriously. I've visited another bakery in town with flies buzzing around the display case ! You won't find that at Karen's Place. Every square inch has been carefully thought out and I have never had a single treat that didn't 100% exceed my standards. Jenn is innovative and the rotating flavors keep us coming back week after week. (Sometimes a few times per week ) Not to mention, she has made all of our custom cakes for every celebration the last few years. Do yourself a favor and grab a cupcake, a huge macaron ice cream sandwich, some freeze dried candy, and some gifts for the kids, too. And the milkshake of the week. Oh. Em. Gee!! Ask for extra whip cream. A Merry Little Baker, indeed!

We have been customers of Sam's Cats & Dogs Naturally for several years and have always found them…read moreto be an excellent place. We mostly frequent the Monroe store and have been to the (much smaller) Redmond Ridge store a few times, but this was the first time we tried the Everett location. This is a relatively new Evereett location, Sam's having moved here from a previous location in Everett that had been open several years. This is the old Trader Joe's space in Everett, and it works well for Sam's. It's also Sam's largest location. The selection is impressive, and the quality and range of items carried are perfect. They have some hard-to-find superb pet food brands, as well as others that are a step up from grocery store food but not on that top tier. This is intentional. I know because Sam told me they want to ensure everyone can feed, entertain, and care for their pets regardless of their means. (Did you know they distribute any returned food to food banks and that you can return food if your pet does not like it.) So, yes, I had the pleasure of finally meeting the Sam (Sam Wirsching) behind the name. If you've ever seen Sam's flyers for Santa photos for your pets at Christmas, Sam is Santa (and a perfect-looking one at that). He was extremely humble, friendly, and exceptionally helpful and knowledgable. I was impressed, and it made our family's loyalty to this place increase. Sam's isn't fancy, but it carries top-tier brands. Think of it as a much larger Mud Bay without any pretentiousness. And it has great customer service, even offering free delivery of orders. We love Sam's Cats & Dogs Naturally. Though we will continue to primarily frequent the Monroe store, we would frequent this location if it was the one closest to us. All three locations are great.

The one who passed could be in a dead sleep and the moment we turned by the coffee stand, would wake and jump from window to window making his "sounds". Often times, I would just carry him, since he was a pomeranian and small. By the time we walked in, someone would "steal him" and keep him behind the front counter just loving on him, giving him treats and enjoying his snuggles. (Definitely helped while I shopped and carried his cold raw food ) Everyone there is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Each time I've moved, I've traveled just to get food/treats from Julz. My newer pup even loves the place! He gets to come in and sniff all the cool dehydrated treats at doggy level!! He gets mad at me when I tell him he can't steal any, but he knows he will get some in the car. This place always has the top brands of everything!!
