It's a touristy gift shop, with some specialty items, lots of buc-ees branded merch, convenience store style hot food items, coffee, stuff for your car, your pets and you, your kids, your sweetie. I'm not sure if it's a mini mall, an expanded truck stop convenience store, or a glaring testament to consumerism. What makes it different from the usual convenience store might be the bbq cutting station with periodic group shouts from the guys working that area. I have no idea what they were saying, but it happened pretty regularly and you could hear it all over the store. And let's talk about the fudge station. Oh yes .... Winner on that. Still, it's a convenience store, a couple of steps above the norm, but once you get beyond the circus-y vibe, it's an experience that leaves me with the meh mindset for a repeat. This store and the Indian people who work in it are a terrible stain on our community. I refuse to shop there or buy gas anymore. So insulting! They don't deserve even one star.

Add to that the homeless people directly outside of the doors and this was not a very welcoming experience. The store was in sad shape (guess they do need that union labor after all...) from the shuttered Service Desk to the barely staffed front registers. Not having markdowns on Valentine's Day items the day after the holiday seemed like a big miss as well. Hopefully they can resolve the labor issues soon and get the store back into shape.

It's more spacious, the shelves are usually well-stocked. And during COVID-19 they're taking extra care to wipe down carts. Customers wearing masks wasn't too heavily enforced, but I can't imagine telling people what they can/can't do these days. Especially in a grocery store. Just stay far away from these rule-breakers, keep your face covered and wash your hands when you get home. Beyond that, it's a pretty standard grocery chain experience.

Whenever I have gone in to buy a lottery ticket, the employees are so welcoming and greet me with a smile. I bought a Colorado lottery ticket here along with Powerball and Mega Millions. At first, the employee thought he misheard me and asked which scratch off. I told him I wanted the Colorado Lottery since it was at $20M and I'm not that greedy .
