Everything You Need On the Table. You're Served. Politely Beautifully Presented Hot Fresh Food. Let me put it to you this way.... I've been to Gastropubs with their higher prices and expensive interior and their Burger & Fries weren't nearly as good as this place. The Swiss Mushroom Burger. - The beef so tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned served right off the grill. - The Mushrooms were sauteed al dente. Not raw. Not floppy. Perfect. - The Bun and the melted Swiss cheese were at it like a perfect Tango. ..............The aroma of all this had me smiling before I even had my first bite. The Curly Garlic Fries. - You could feel and taste the crisp ridges of the cut of the fry gently but justly coated in fresh garlic....finishing off with the taste of moist potato flakes inside. Their service was impressively good. Their genuine approach to serving you, follow up table checkups and friendly demeanor from all staff was...frankly...beautiful to see. I've tried all the Fatburgers in Vancouver. How do I feel about this place? Let's just say....I'll be driving to Coquitlam from now on to quench my Burger & Fries craving. Yup. Worth it.

My experience at Fatburger Maple Ridge was one of the most humiliating and discriminatory…read moreencounters I have ever had in a public business. I am a disabled woman with a legitimate service dog, clearly identifiable and fully protected under British Columbia human rights law. Instead of being served like any other customer, I was treated with suspicion, stared at, interrogated, and made to feel as though I needed to justify my disability and medical accommodation to staff. That conduct is unlawful. Staff refused service, questioned me in an invasive and humiliating manner, and behaved as though my presence was a problem that needed to be examined or "verified." I was made to feel criminalized simply for existing as a disabled person. There was no professionalism, no apology, and no understanding of the law--only hostility and exclusion. This was not a misunderstanding or momentary confusion. It was a complete failure of training, management, and basic human decency. Under BC law, businesses do not get to decide whether a service dog is "real enough," nor are they permitted to interrogate disabled patrons or impose arbitrary standards. The duty is clear: you accommodate, or you discriminate. What occurred here meets the definition of prima facie discrimination. It is deeply disturbing that in 2025, a paying customer was subjected to this treatment. If this is how disabled patrons are handled, then this location is not safe, not inclusive, and not legally compliant. I will never return, and I strongly caution anyone with a disability or service animal to avoid this location. Corporate leadership should take this complaint seriously, as this conduct exposes the franchise to significant reputational and legal consequences. Do better. Train your staff. Learn the law. Disabled people are not criminals--and our service dogs are not up for debate.

We tried the tacos (Baja fish, Cajun shrimp, jerk chicken), smashburger, and their Mexican poutine. We really enjoyed the tacos, especially the fish and jerk chicken tacos. The strong seasoning of the proteins were complimented well with the slaw and vegetable toppings. The smashburger was good, considering it came from a fast food chain and the poutine was filling and hearty. After we paid, we got to spin the wheel and won a free taco for our next visit.
