There is a guy constantly cleaning the floor and tables which helps keep a welcoming dining room as it's a bit rundown. Two-sided menu with create-your-own options for breakfast combos. Spinach pie is huge with tasty filling though the phyllo is not crispy. It has egg, onion, feta and spinach, of course. My husband's omelette was a good portion and filling. The side of bacon had a great flavor though a little soft. I didn't specify I wanted it crispy. Good to know you have bacon options. lol Iced tea is brewed, unsweetened and very good. All in all a solid spot.

Now I'm willing to update my review later down the line, but there are some problems here early I only had two cars in front of me and I probably was in line for 25 minutes The staff, however, was very nice I got the 50s burger and a chocolate shake The shake was pretty much standard, but I'm afraid to say that the burger really didn't have any taste It was a big burger with lettuce and tomato and a special sauce, but it really just didn't do anything for me I'll give them a chance to kind of get everything together and try again, but my first jump in the pool left me shivering

It's was like a meal you would get at grandmas Then at the end my service I was asked: do you want the dessert that comes with it? Honestly way more food than 12 dollars deserves and all of it was above average Also the menu is extensive so you will find what you want Clean well kept place If you are looking for what I'm putting down then this is your place!

Had to try it. My…read moredad grew up in this town, 1936. He fondly spoke of standing outside watching the chefs cook up these little wonders right on the grille, then smothering chili on top of each one with care. The way he talked about it just made me yearn for one. I have visited the area a hundred times in my life. He always talked about this place. So this week was the week. We were in town on business/pleasure, etc. I had a free afternoon and no lunch plans. I dropped in at 1130, place was half full. I was greeted immediately by a super pleasant young lady, I told her I was ordering it to go. I ordered two chili cheese dogs and a small fry. Took a seat and soaked up all the nostalgia the place had to offer. It was very clean, and super cool inside, like right out of my dads childhood. A few minutes later I was handed a bag of pure bliss! I grabbed a sixer of PBR's and raced back to the hotel for a meal fit for a king. Chili cheese dogs are a gift from God. These did not let me down. If you are a fan of chili dogs, give this place a try, it was delicious.
