The burgers were pretty good. The chicken leaves much to be desired though. The service was ok nothing exciting to write about.

Walking in on a Monday and after fresh snowfall there was not many people in there. We were seated right away. The cool thing is they have 2 trackman bays for golf during the winter weather. The waitress said you can do an hour for $25/ 2 people. You do have to call the l pro shop to book a reservation. After looking over the menu, so many options, we decided to start with apps. Huckleberry pork spring rolls and bruschetta with naan bread. The spring rolls were good but would have like more of the huckleberry sauce on it. Or having the huckleberry sauce as the dipping. The bruschetta was good, it was a little on the Spicy side due to excessive amounts of garlic. It was also a little different having it on naan bread then having it on a Cristini. I finally decided on the buffalo chicken Mac & Cheese. My co workers had Huckleberry stuffed pork chop with a side of asparagus, and Bourbon steak sandwich, with a side of macaroni and cheese. I can't speak for them but my Mac & cheese was good. Great flavor with chicken, buffalo sauce, bacon and blue cheese crumble. Never would've thought to put this on the mac & cheese but it was great. Only negative thing I have to say about this was when my coworker got a refill on his tea and was stirring in his sugar there was flakes of something in the bottom of the glass. Other then that it was all good.

We really enjoyed eating on the patio here. It is extremely kid friendly with great service. The biggest downfall is that the bartender really didn't know her beers and could not provide recommendations. We ordered a steak medium rare - it was a little undercooked but not rare and the flavor was very good. The Back 9 melt was a hefty sandwich easily shared and was also very good. We did not have high expectations for food in Butte and were pleasantly surprised with Back 9. It may be a rare repeat for us if we are ever in this area again

I travel a lot for work, and I've eaten out so much that I really don't enjoy it (only because I hate eating out without my family) whether I spend $5 or $50. So yes, any week I'm in town, I'll eat here again, probably once a week, maybe even twice.

I ordered a few things - a couple tacos, a burrito, and chips and cheese. The taco's were the most bland and flavorless tacos I've ever tried. The shells had a stale musty taste, and no flavor. The meat didn't seem flavored, and the chicken was not really a shredded consistency but a wet soggy mess. The burrito was just plain not good. And the chips and cheese were a handful of chips in a paper boat-dish with a bit of really low quality cheese sprinkled on and then microwaved till the cheese is hard and the chips are soggy - and all of it fused to the paper dish. I didn't eat much of it at all and that's a shame, because it's expensive for what it is. There are much better options either sit-down restaurants or fast food that will save you a few bucks and not leave you wondering if that was supposed to be Mexican food or just a really, really bad joke. Since it's a local place, I'd love to say it's good - but it's a big no from me, both for my wallet and my palate.
