Sat at drive thru window, March 5/26 around 1730, waiting for our order of a burger & fries. We could clearly see into the restaurant watching 2 workers. The male with black short hair & glasses did not have a hairnet on nor gloves, while he was multitasking, touching multiple items, not washing his hands, handling money, etc at the till, handling food orders with his bare hands. Most disturbing was the female worker who had some sort of a black hat on her head, & we observed her more than 3 times, opening up paper wraps the hamburgers were placed in, touching them to see what burger they were, lifting up french fries that were placed in paper wraps by the cook, with fries falling out onto the tray, & with her bare, ungloved hands, picking up the fries & placing them on top of the heap of fries, & either giving them to a customer on a tray, or placing them in bags, for giving to the drive through customers. Absolutely disgusting to watch ungloved workers actually touching the food with their hands & giving it to customers, with no hand washing or hand sanitizer use in sight. This is not the 1st time I have seen workers at the Oliver A & W location, not wearing gloves. Thought I'd give this A & W another chance, never again. Do the employees here even wash their hands after using the bathroom? We were so disgusted we left without our order. This place needs to have a, Interior Health Inspector come by & see what's going on. I wonder if any customers have experiences any gastrointestinal issues with the food from here. read more

Only fast food we eat. Really tasty and you don't feel all bloated after you have a meal there. Fries are really good as are burgers. They don't have ice but they say that's bc they want you to taste the root beer without being watered down. Drinks are still very cold and served in a glass mug. Higher quality food than your average fast food joint for sure. So good. read more

Second complaint in as many months! This time i am calling the authorities ...Your service is abysmal and your hygeine disgusting! There is zero excuse for the service i got today! I was ignored trying to order when there was one car at window and one guy picking up! They were not busy...then i saw how the staff handled the food and touched all kinds of things including the til while handling food! Then the burger sat for 5 minutes while I waited before they bagged it up ...several large widow orders went before me when i was first! Then I went home to find some gross slop..a small, thin pattie with nothing but orange sauce and onion! Gross! I had to walk all the way back to get a refund that they refused to do and ignored me! These indian girls moved like sloths, yapping the whole time and then had the gaul to make excuses to me. Prob more like a 3-3.5 like 90% of fast food but definitely not a 2.5. Just finished a tasy cheeseburger and some very fresh, piping hot fries. Have had solid meals here previously as well. read more

Just polished off a yummy breakfast...2 eggs over easy cooked perfect, bacon, sausage, hash brown patty, toast and a coffee for $11. Good stuff. Was the only place in town open for breakfast before 730am that I could find. read more

Manager has attitude issues toward the staff. Chubby cashier lady with dark rim glasses has a poor cashier attitude does not make u feel welcome. Loads of flies. Foods good as long as the flies stay off This place needs a staff change, or huge attitude adjustment read more

Unfortunately, our experience at this A&W location did not meet our expectations of what the brand normally delivers. While the food was good, the service was dismal. We used the drive through and I requested milk twice for a kids meal. I acknowledged that the extra charge for milk instead of pop would be fine but when we got to the window, we didnt receive the milk we ordered with our meal. When we asked about it, we were told we didnt order it by one employee and the supervisor came over and added that she heard that I didnt order any milk and the two employees continued to be rude to the point that my grandmother added, "Aren't they snotty." It was a terrible experience and I was really disapointed at how I was treated as a customer. read more

I'm not sure who dose the cooking. But every time i order/pick it up/eat it. My stomach says what did you give my. Because after words i just want to sit on the thrown/do my business/it's like that every time. I wouldn't give that kind of food to a starving dog. Because it might kill him. Cashier has the rudest attitude towards customers and staff. She left part way into taking order to do something else, didn't even ask if I wanted my receipt. Hard to understand as they have a deep accent but also seemed like she didn't care if we understood her. Food was good aside from the toast. read more
