Never had an issue here, I prefer A&W over other fast food places because they have vegetables on the burgers, a bit more expensive than other fast food places but its worth it. read more

We called ahead and was told the wait was about 20min. If we were smart (but we weren't) we would have called again when we were closer. It took about 40min to get the food but it was worth the wait. I can't remember when I had a burger as delicious as this was. Sure it was greasy but it wasn't Ricky greasy... it was more like Julian greasy lol. They grind the beef daily so it's fresh. I had the onion burger which came with onion rings on it. My only regret is getting plain fries instead of poutine. The fries were just ok. Better than frozen fries but I've had better. The star of the show was definitely the burger. We will be going back... Maybe as early as tomorrow. Lol I wish I was kidding.

Took 30 minutes for someone to come out and get them to move ahead. I ordered a double cheese combo without a few condiments and well done. The burger seemed to have gotten a tan from the pits of hell. It was like shoe soles. I went back tonight simply because my preferred take out was closed. Ordered a double cheese combo, the same as before adding I don't want to wear the burger grease. The burger came well done, no excess grease, but they made up for it by giving me enough mayonnaise and ketchup for 3 burgers. They only gave me 2 thin napkins, they were saturated in mayonnaise after the first two bites. I'm glad I keep extra napkins in my truck. I used every one I had and then my handkerchief to stay clean. The fries were dry and cold. The drink was great.

We have been excited to try this spot since it opened in the fall but it was always super busy but the wait was well worth it. This is a take out so if it's off-season, expect to sit in your car to wait for your food or pre-order ahead of time if you want it ready when you show up. You get a little buzzer to take to your car if you do choose to wait, so it's a great system. In the summer, there is a lot of outdoor seating at picnic benches. The chicken shawarma was massive and delicious! Fresh ingredients and fluffy pita bread. Good bang for your buck. The 'hot' fish was also really good but not actually spicy. The only things I'd suggest the owner to change is to make the sauce less runny to avoid making the fish batter soggy and to switch from shredded to leaf lettuce - it would make less of a mess. We got fries to share but we could have done without. They're nice and crispy and not overly salty. Quite a few fun 'maritime' options on the menu that we will be back to try like lobster sandwich and lobster poutine. It's nice to finally see someone investing in the area with good food. The area really doesn't need another deep fried, overly battered greasy fish and chips place so this is very welcomed. Super accessible right on the highway. Lots of parking. Looking forward to seeing what else the owners do with the place!
