I moved locally from Irmo to the Lexington area and to be honest was pretty nervous about hiring a mover all together. My furniture was padded and the crew took excellent care of my boxes! The crew lied as well. They claimed to try and get a hold of me but never called. They showed up at 3pm and at 11pm after the truck was packed they said we just have to make 1 stop and we will head over. I drove to the new home and waited for them. Eventually I called the boss of the crew and he said they will be returning tomorrow. I had to get a hotel because I had none of my stuff. The original quote was 4800$. In the end I had to pay close to 7k. The whole experience was very frustraiting. They also left a bunch of their trash behind and claimed it was mine. For 7k you would expect better service but no, they were horrible. Its no wonder they ask for cash. With that level of service anyone could complain about fraud and get their money back.
