Mike, one of the owners, quickly diagnosed the problem and discovered extensive old knob-and-tube wiring throughout our 1935 Cape Cod. The entire house was rewired with Romex, and although a whole-house rewire is a major project, the experience could not have gone more smoothly. The project took about three weeks, and every member of the team was friendly, highly experienced, respectful, and incredibly considerate. They were especially mindful of keeping the work area clean and accommodating my sensitivities to allergens. Our dogs loved them:) They arrived on time every day, communicated clearly, and the office was always quick to answer questions and respond to messages. Their workmanship was exceptional. You can hardly tell there was any cutting into the walls. They carefully repaired the small openings they had to make, even matching some very old paint colors. They reinstalled light fixtures, molding, and everything else with great care and attention to detail. They also replaced and upgraded outlets throughout the property, worked on our outdoor buildings, and even inspected checked out an underground electrical line. Their expertise extends well beyond standard residential wiring. One thing I especially appreciated was Mike's honesty. He determined that our electrical panel did not need to be replaced, saving us from unnecessary expense. It's refreshing to work with a contractor who recommends only what is truly needed. I recently moved to the area and needed a single 220 outlet installed in my garage. The work…read morebasically involved: adding a breaker, running wire from one side of the garage to the other, and adding a plug (power receptacle). It was clearly a one-man job and should not have taken much more than an hour for one guy to complete. However, on the morning they showed up, instead of sending just a single electrician over, they sent two. I thought it was weird, but just went with it. It appeared that one of the electricians didn't even stay for the duration of the job. Finally, when the job was done, I asked how much it would be, and they just said, "we will send you the bill." And they certainly did, charging me $375 in total, including billing me for the guy who didn't seem to stay the entire time. That's right, $375 for one 220 outlet, 40 feet of wire, and a breaker. The quality of the work itself was OK, which is why I gave them two stars. At least they didn't damage anything. :) Now, I am not suggesting that they are intentionally ripping people off, but I was expecting the job to cost about half of what they charged me based on their hourly rate and the cost of supplies. If you are like me and appreciate paying a fair price for value, then I would suggest you find someone else to do your electrical work.

Well, came up as bad,…read moreI was very skeptical so I asked other companies for another opinion.. let me just tell you how much this company shined with that immediate comparison alone. Not only was our heat exchanger broken, but most of the circuit boards were fried. Blowing not only CO2 into our house but they also made us aware of a scary possible electrical problem in our electrical supply or the electrical in our home, for the boards to be fried but it never popped the breaker.. The owner of the business came out the next day to give us a quote. He checked all the returns, the supply, the duct work and the furnace itself. Went over our budget and our needs before giving us information on what he felt were our best options. He was extremely friendly and very polite. And was very upset he didn't have any space heaters to lend us to keep us warm in the meantime.. which I never expected him to offer in the first place. After we gave him the go ahead they started work Thursday October 13th. Immediately got it running to the point that we had heat! Yay!! Now we did require more work than the simple swapping of furnaces so the install took three full days, Thursday, Friday and Monday. But every single person at our home, was courteous and polite, neat with not only their work but between days, and left the area spotless when they left. What the owner, Greg, said was very true..
