They installed a 220V outlet in my garage to charge my car. The technician was very knowledgeable and did a great job. I highly recommend!

Horrible people. Even worse service. Total rip off. If I could get them negative stars, I…read morewould. I was dispatched this company through my home warranty. I had lost power to my detached garage across the alley from the house 3 weeks ago. I set up a lock box on the garage with keys to the house and the garage. This house is for sale and empty. I told them to take their time, it's no emergency, please work it at their own pace and safety comfort with the snowy weather. Almost a week goes by and I hear nothing. Then I get an email from the home warranty asking me to rate Omni's service. ???? I called Omni to ask if they were out to the house and were they able to fix it. The woman that answered the phone said "Oh yeah. No, we didn't fix it. The gas company cut your wire. You need to call the electric company to get it fixed." ????? OK. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense but I call the gas service and they said, no, we have not done any work in that area in the last year. So I call the electric provider. Oh we only get power to your meter and I can see you have power to the meter. Yes, I certainly do. So I call back Omni to ask just how they came to this conclusion. I was told there is an asphalt patch in the road between the house and the garage so someone must have cut my wire. ??????? I ask to speak to the technician who went to the house. He's not there. He won't be in today. I go to the house to retrieve the lock box and when I tried to enter the garage with the newly cut keys I had left in the lock box I discovered I did not do my due diligence and found the key for the garage will lock the door but not open it. It went right but not left. So I called Omni back and spoke to Brian who said he was second in charge. I explained everything to him and he agreed this didn't make much sense. I also stated I don't think the technician ever went into the garage or the house due to my error with the keys. I told him I was calling out an electrician I had used in the past to look at this and did he want me to share my findings? Yes, sure. I then receive a call some someone named Gary who claims to be the service manager. This man starts YELLING at me. I told him to stop shouting and calm down. He says "Ma'am YOU HAVE NO POWER TO YOUR GARAGE!!"" Exactly!!! That's why I called!! He continues to shout at me that his company has told me this repeatedly. I said I know there's no power by why, oh why, do you keep saying a utility cut the line? Did your technician look at the junction box in the garage? Did he go in the house and check the switch that turns the power off and on to the garage from the kitchen? Did he check the circuit breaker. Again in full bay he screams "HE CHECKED EVERYTHING!!! YOU HAVE NO POWER!!!" Then where did you get that someone cut the line in the road. "There is a patch in the asphalt in the road so someone was working there and cut your power." Yes, but that was the township back in the summer upgrading the sewer infrastructure. I just lost power 3 weeks ago to the house. Do you know for a fact there was utility work? "No, We assumed. And no one ever told you the gas company cut your power." Yes, you did, the lady who answered the phone told me that. "Oh, well ma'am. WE ARE JUST GOING TO HAVE TO PUNISH HER, AREN'T WE!!! Have a nice DAY!!"" And slams the phone down. I call back and talk to Brian. I tell him that this is unacceptable. I don't want to be yelled at, no one wants this and I don't think this is how he wants his customers treated. He agreed stating home warranty work is his main source of business. I told him more than once I don't disagree with him about a break under the road but I want to know that this is indeed the correct problem and not something else. My electrician came out and tested everything. I had power going all the way out to the conduit out of the house but sadly nothing after that. So yes, they are correct. But my electrician was able to eliminate the breaker, the internal wiring, the switch in the kitchen that allows you to turn power off and on, and the wiring leaving the house. BIG difference from a picture of a patch in the road that, BTW, isn't where the conduit carrying the power to the garage is located. I promised Brian I'd share the information and I did in an email. I keep getting emails back from Gary the YELLER in CAPITAL. LETTERS. WITH. PERIODS. BETWEEN. EACH. WORD. "THIS. DISCUSSION. IS. OVER. WE. ARE. NOT. INTERESTED. IN. YOU. OR. YOUR. PROPERTY. WE. KEEP. TELLING. YOU. YOU. HAVE. NO. POWER. TO. YOUR. GARAGE." My recommendation is to run, don't walk, as far away from these idiots as possible. They say they have 30 years experience. In what, I'm not sure, but it's not electrical work or customer service. I've attached their "diagnostic tool". A picture of the alley. Where the gas company never cut my electric.

I would NEVER use this company again! These folks were sent by our home warranty company to…read moreinspect/fix lights out in our basement storage room. The tech was polite, rerouted or cut a line, & got power to some outlets and our alarm system which happened to be on the same circuit. He estimated over $700 to remedy the whole outage. Because he wrote it up as an "alarm system" issue (which it was not) , the warranty Co. wouldn't cover it. When I called the Office to request they clarify their report, the man who answered was rude, said they did 60 of these a week and had no inclination to amend the report. I got the warranty Co. to send another electrician who fixed the entire outage with no additional charge, saving us over $700!
