My old boiler is about 65 years old. My 2nd floor radiators where not getting hot. The 2nd floor…read morewas always cold in my house. In the past, I had called 2 different heating companies to look at the boiler in my house. Both companies said my boiler was working fine, but yet my 2nd floor was still cold. I had called Lawerence plumbing to look at my furnace. Lawerence plumbing sent 2 technicians, Sam and Ed. It only took 5 minutes and they found the problem. The PSI in the water system was only at 5 Lbs, when it should have been at 15 Lbs. The valves that controls the water pressure in the boiler was corroded and stuck. The boiler system was old, and several other valves were also in need of replacement. Surprisingly, they were able to replace the old worn-out parts without breaking other parts. That's always the fear of working on old plumbing, things tend to snowball. They had to replace some bleeder valves on two of the radiators also. To make a long story short, Sam and Ed did a terrific job fixing my boiler. They were able to restore heat to my 2nd-floor without costing me a small fortune. If I ever need a plumber again, I will gladly call Lawerence Plumbing. They did a terrific job at an honest price. If I do call them again, I hope they send Sam & Ed again. My husband contacted Nemcheck for a service call and they were able to come out in a very timely manner. Due to our AC unit being located under the deck, and the fact that it was 24 years old, it was running constantly, and it was determined that there was an issue. It was more cost-effective to purchase a new AC unit. The technician was very thorough in explaining what our options were. Rob came to determine where we would like our new AC unit , to confirm the AC unit we wanted , and to take measurements also . Again, he was very thorough in going through the options and what was going to happen with the install. After ordering the unit, the Nemcheck team arrived for our scheduled install. Chris installed a new furnace for me in November 2024, and just a couple weeks ago a new hot water…read moretank. He was able to do both jobs quickly so I was only a couple days without! He gives verbal estimates, sometimes without seeing the job. My hot water tank was more than stated, but I did ask him to replace lines. I was surprised to see it was $400 more than estimated. Next time I will ask for a more specific cost so I am better prepared. As a single woman I feel good knowing Chris will provide quality work that I can trust.

Jeremy came out the day after I called and was right on time. I explained what I needed and what had been going on. By the next day, I had my estimate for the equipment I wanted and his price matched the lower estimate to the dollar. He got me scheduled immediately and on a weekend which allowed me to be home for the work. He and his assistant showed up at 4pm on Friday and by 8, had the first unit out. The next 2 days, they were right on time and hammered through it. I can't say enough about them. Extremely professional, punctual, polite and honest. Finally found an HVAC company I don't mind dealing with. Going forward, I would not use anyone else. Fantastic job gentlemen. You set the standard!
