Seasoning was on point, and both were HOT! Now on to the fish, it was cut not too thick and not to thin. I would have preferred more seasoning, but the cocktail sauce was good so it worked out. Neither of us cared for the cole slaw. It's shredded thick and very bland. It does have the potential to be good with some tweaking. I didn't try the hushpuppies. The portions were adequate, and it's a 9/10 for me.

When I got there, the server barely spoke. When I checked my order, I told her an item on there was not right and told her what I had ordered. She asked what salad dressing and she shut the window and got the salad. I told her there were supppsed. To be extra fries and she just looked at me without addressing what I said and shit the window back. Rude and horrible service. I just hope the food is what I remembered it to be.

Everyone enjoyed their food--chargrilled oysters, red fish, burger, etc. Then we ordered two desserts to share (Salted Caramel Nola and Lemon Icebox Pie)--both scrumptious, but the server didn't bus our dinner dishes before bringing out the desserts. It was honestly a little gross passing them around over dirty dishes. Just a small extra step to clear the table would have been appreciated! Especially since a 20% gratuity was already included for a large party.

You could taste a hint of citrus from the boil along with the excellent spices. They were delicious. They paired nicely with the corn and potatoes. We also had their boiled shrimp which were also delicious. Our interactions with the staff were memorable as well. Everyone was so kind and friendly. Taking a lunch break from a conference, I found this on Yelp and we decided to try the place out. Ambiance - 3.5 Stars The old home which was converted into the sandwhich shop has very limited seating; only bar stools and can be elbow to elbow on space. There maybe about 12 bar stools so it might be best to call in or order at the counter as take out. Service - 4 Stars The staff were friendly and pleasant. The main cook checked on us regularly after we made a "New Orleans connection". Food: 3.5 - 3.75 Stars If you are getting a PoBoy meal it comes with a 6" or 10" sandwich and a bag of chips. Drinks and other items or extra. We ordered the following: The Junkin: a traditional Debris slow cooked roast. 3.5 4 stars The PoBoy had the usual condiments of lettuce, tomato and pickles w a light spread of mayo. The buttered bread was light and outside layered were crunchy. Just as it should be. The rendered pot roasted was flavorful and slightly juicy. I prefer my Debris to be more wet. 2. Large Cup of Red Beans and Rice - 3.5 Stars The beans were tendered but prefer to have the beans whole I stead of purée. The sausage and beef were good and the seasoning was good. Prefer it to be a bit more spicer. We recommend the place if you need a quick meal in Natchez near the waterfront.
