It had a wood top that was not durable enough for a sweating water bottle or scratchy keys. It measured approximately 35" x 11" with some eights of inches thrown in for tediousness. The man on the phone quoted me a price and told me the options. I went with the clear glass, plain edge, and it was around $41 with tax. The price was fine with me considering we were doing damage to our table in the meantime. I went in the place the order; pretty easy. They said it'd be ready in two days. Minus one star for: ---1) I came back in 2 days when they opened and it wasn't ready. I guess they didn't expect me to come that early (around 830AM), but you have to tell customers that it won't be ready until after a certain time, such as "Friday, after 12 noon". So I had to wait 15-20 mins for them to make it on the spot. ---2) Street parking, ugh. ---3) Don't bring small kids here or anyone accident prone. There was was chunk of broken mirror on the ground from a nearby broken glass pedestal. I picked it up and put it safely on top of the pedestal. Mistakes like that shouldn't be made. ---4) Non-air conditioned (or so it seemed) waiting area. Also, the waiting area needs a serious update. There was a bay of seats from a van. Really? :) Other than those points, it was fantastic. Helpful people work there. SUPER accurate sizing and measuring. It fits the table like a glove. Thank you!!

When the written estimate was higher than I expected, I tried to cancel the verbal, smaller project and Joel wasn't very happy about it. But Steve, his manager was very good. I wouldn't say not to use them, but just make sure you get everything you need to make you comfortable with going forward with the project. Again, I wish they would have a single point of contact - one person, one project and better communicate internally what needs to be done. especially when they don't return phone calls.

So I called them again for a stairway window that was leaking air and in poor shape. I made an appointment but their truck broke down. I was very understanding and said they would call when fixed. Oxsana let me know they were coming on Wednesday. I had wanted him to come out before and assess the window, but he wouldn't do that. He finally showed up at 1:30 for a morning appt. Since I have mobility issues, he went up to look at the window. First he needed a place to work from so I said he could use the garage. Then he asked for paint. An hour later he was at my door telling me he was finished. I made my was upstairs and almost nothing had been done. Never needed any work space and no painting either. The windows were leaking to the point that it was taped. Basically, all he did was unstick the window and nothing else. I pointed out the tape and he said he hadn't noticed it. That's his job. He went back and caulked the edge of one window. For this we paid $450. My neighbor went to look at the work and was appalled. I was embarrassed. We feel completely ripped off. Asked for a receipt that was never sent. We are now hiring another company to do it over. Save yourself a lot of grief and don't call them.
