I was told respraying outside is not necessary and then later told a respray is not legal in Ohio. I could not find verification of such a law. I bought several refills of the same brand bait stations (they included 2 bait station traps in my cost) to keep fighting ants on my own. Their service has not solved my ant problem. I've been living in the same apartment for just over four years now and there's only been two instances where pest control was needed. Both times I organized for Quality Pest Control to come out through my landlord, but I worked directly with them both times. It's also been the same fella that comes out and he's been great. The first issue was over the summer with carpenter bees. Every year I notice them and while they're annoying they aren't harmful. That being said, I definitely don't want them around 24/7 as I'm trying to get in and out of my backdoor. I even gave myself a black eye once trying to get away from them, LOL. They can't help it, they love the wooden staircase and it's clearly been their home for longer than it's been mine. They came out one afternoon and I was able to show them all the problem areas. After working their magic I noticed a huge improvement. Gone are the days of darting in and out of my place as they chew up each stair. The second time was more recently and due to mice, gross! They let me know that it's been a bigger issue this year and I'm not the only one. They came out and accessed the situation and did their thing. It took about two weeks and after making a few other adjustments, I'm pleased to share that the issue is no longer. I definitely recommend them if your pests are getting out of control.

We looked around for quotes from a few different companies that had good reviews, and after talking with Karl, we decided Envirocare sounded like the best fit for us. Karl was extremely knowledgeable and friendly on the phone, and we felt confident in our decision. He came out and was able to locate the problem area right away. (They were coming in through the crawl space- whyyy???) He treated our home, and then did the perimeter outdoors. He was very polite to myself and my baby, and I liked him a lot. He informed us that we had a 90 day warranty, and that if any ants came back within the 90 days, that he would come back out for free. He said that if he needed to come out after the 90 days- which is when it would also be warmer, that it would just be $100. That all sounded great to us. He said to give the treatments about 1 week to work, and if we had any issues after that to give him a text or call. After he left I immediately recommended him to my friend who had also just bought a house that had an ant problem as well. He came out to her home within a few days and did a treatment there. She also really liked him. After a few weeks went by I started to notice a few ants again. Nowhere near the amount we had previously, but enough in the same 3 spots that I grew concerned. Karl came back out on a (thankfully) warm and dry day to do another treatment. He confirmed that the original nest in the crawlspace was gone, and said that the stragglers were just coming in from outside. While treating the outside he did spot some carpenter ants in the yard and told us to keep an eye out to make sure those guys didn't make their way into the house. He also suggested trimming the hedges back about 6" to make sure they weren't touching the house, that way ants or other bugs couldn't climb up the bushes and onto/into the house. As first time homeowners, this is something we had no idea about! Karl is definitely very knowledgeable and thorough and goes above and beyond at each visit to make sure he doesn't miss a thing. His prices are very competitive and he doesn't make you sign a year long contract for constant treatments. Also- safe products for those of us with little ones or pets! If you're suddenly faced with an unfortunate bug problem, definitely give Envirocare a call!
