After finding out that another roofing company had screwed us out of getting our roof replaced…read morethrough our homeowners insurance (check out my other reviews for details on that) our realtor recommended that we call A-1 for a second opinion and to potentially have them do the work for our buyer since we were in the process of selling our home. They came out the day we called and were very friendly and easy to talk to. They confirmed that the roof was in need of replacement and worked to get us a quote for the job quickly since we were in a bit of a time crunch. The quote ended up being LESS than what the other company wanted us to pay them that they claimed was their "discounted rate". A-1 was us standing of our situation and waited patiently to see if we would be able to get the other company to make things right and either replace the roof for us at no cost or at least a much more discounted rate than their first offer but since they have been unwilling to do so A-1 got the job and honestly I trust them much more to do the work for our buyer. With 30+ years of experience I have no doubt the work will be done correctly and efficiently. If you're in the market for a new roof or a roof repair definitely give A-1 a chance. I bet they will do a better job than other places and they may even be more affordable to boot!

I ended up calling 3 roofing contractors. All Tite lead in ratings a reviews. All Tite showed up right after the phone call. They got up on the roof and explained what they saw. Shortly after that Tracy showed up and walked me thru the process, understanding my insurance company wasn't assisting. Anyone else I had spoken to felt like they were prioritizing insurance claims not damage. (One man's opinion) I had to go to a week training and Tracy promised to get it done. At this point he'd built enough trust with me so I completed my training and returned to a new roof !! Along the way they assisted me in over and above questions and worries, very patient for sure. Such great work I decided to get new gutters and guards added. Well done and grateful!

The team quickly responded to our inquiry, knew the shingle color by name from the photo, and within a week (despite what had to be nonstop work in the area) was out to fix it. When they came out, they were in and out efficiently and quickly, and were super reasonable on price. 10/10 would recommend! We appreciate them coming to help fix the small damage we had, when there had to be other more lucrative (insurance covered) repairs in the area!

They said they would be out a few weeks into October. Maybe two weeks later I decided I wanted black gutters instead of white. I called them and they were able to accommodate and came right out that day to start work. They finished in two days. They even put my old guards back on the new gutters for me! Very nice people. We had a few unresolved issues after they finished roofing our house - and we had paid in full…read more One issue was resolved in a timely manner. I called regularly regarding the second issue and Joe - the enthusiastic salesman who promised fabulous customer service - stopped answering or returning my calls. Completely ignored me. So I had to call and text the owner, Kenny Vessels, with regularity. I am a nurse and I have everything documented thoroughly in case we needed to go to small claims court. After a lot of excuses a second issue was resolved after 4 months - may not sound too bad, but it still consumed my time and energy. But they promised to replace any warped boards during the roofing process; which they did not do. Two years later we are paying someone else to come fix what Vessels promised they would do to begin with.
