I used Trex composite deck material for the low maintenance I preferred. Steve, the owner, was prompt to respond to anything I was dissatisfied about, and quickly resolve it. Steve would even come out in his everyday wear and fix issues himself. They were minor but I loved his professionalism and willingness to "get his hands dirty", literally. He even went as far as to teach my nephew how to use a pressure washer. The patience, care and kindness speaks volumes to the company. His crew worked hard from morning to evening to tear down my deck, rebuild the deck, build a new deck by my garage, paint the house, gutters, and walls. The whole renovation took only 3 1/2 weeks, including the pressure washing of the house that Steve completed. I was highly pleased with the finished project. I hosted a deck reveal for my family and friends. I invited Steve and he came by, as I bragged on his company and passed out business cards. I would strongly recommend Ebbs & Lowe for your renovation needs! You will be grateful and thankful you did.

Pedro and his crew (Danny and Eduardo, plus a couple of others as needed) did a wonderful job doing the very tricky and difficult demolition and prep work, removing a sinking brick patio, old under-awning slab (around the spa), and removing the old retaining wall, re-doing the wall footers, and forming and pouring a wonderful new patio for us. Pedro was attentive, on time, and listened carefully, patiently making sure that we got all of the details under control (we are very picky). He answered all of our questions and saw to it that the job was done to specs. Their pricing was not cheap, but better than our other estimates. When they finished, a contractor doing work next-door, who had been watching them work, came over and gave Pedro his card, and took his, and complimented their work. I have absolutely no problem recommending this company to do similar kinds of work.

First off, let's be clear that these four stars are a smidge generous, but so was 7 Pillars. I…read morewould really give them about 3.75 stars. Prior to moving into my new home I wanted to get the carpets cleaned to handle pet odor and some staining. I chose 7 Pillars as I wanted to support a small, local business and I loved that their business name seemed to indicate they are Christian-owned. At the first appointment, 7 Pillars was on time and finished the job quicker than anticipated. The estimate was substantially higher than anticipated, though not unreasonable, as they charge extra for the solutions they use for stain removal and pet odor. Unfortunately, after the carpets dried, they didn't seem to be in much better shape than before they were cleaned. So I called the company and they offered to come back and redo it free of charge. The redo appointment was canceled the day of due to an issue with their equipment- fine, don't come back yet if we're going to have the same problem. When the appointment actually happened a couple of days later, the guy was late but worked hard to address the issues and totally re-did the rooms - I would've likely been fine with just spot cleaning! Did all of the spots come out? No. Do I fault the company for that? Not after seeing how hard the man tried to make things right and after doing some research on stains. This company's integrity is worthy to be lauded but don't expect them to work full miracles on your carpet if that's what may be needed. Know that it may be more expensive than their coupon indicates. Also know that in working with a small business, there can be challenges that are annoying to the customer but be patient and remember you're supporting real people here!

Luckily they do good employees. The employees took it to my basement and cleaned it. They told me I could put it back in 24 hours. I lifted the rug and the floor was moist. I think it was moist enough that it could have damaged my wood floors. I have tried twice to call them today and get an answering machine. If you have padding I think they're fine. I flipped the 11'x8' rug over to finish drying for day two. I'm glad I had a basement to clean it in and the carried it down to clean it. Your call.

RESPONDING TO MR. DUNN'S THOROUGHLY FALSE REPLY:…read more I have been seriously ill and hospitalized several times, since you damaged my home in 2021. Until there was an opportunity for me to have an independent, reputable roofer give an objective evaluation, at no charge whatsoever, including photos and a full report of damage, I was not aware nor would it have been possible for me to be aware of the extensive, permanent damage you have inflicted upon my home. There is no mold anywhere in the world which is capable of causing huge gaps in flashing on a roof. Multiple large gaps in the flashing on the roof your crew installed here are the result SOLELY of bad workmanship. "Mold" does not cause huge gaps in flashing, leaving wide open holes through which rainwater, melted ice, melted snow are entering the ceiling structures. None of this has anything to do with "mold." The ceiling located directly below the wide open gaps in flashing is water-damaged. A 10-year-old child can understand that the roof is leaking, thanks to wide open holes that were created, by horribly bad workmanship, when the flashing was installed. Look at those photos and tell me where you see "mold!" Blaming your negligence and horrible workmanship on "mold" is beneath you, in terms of an excuse that even a child would be fooled into accepting. So you're saying that "mold" caused the bad workmanship, as displayed in some 27 photos we have. --No! Not even close. "Tree damage" did not cause a drip edge to be incorrectly installed. All of this is at the doorstep of BAD WORKMANSHIP AND DENIAL -- REFUSAL TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. If the roof does not need box vents, why did you personally write into the contract that "box vents" are to be included, with this roof installation?! Shingles are wavy, damaged, uneven, haphazardly installed, and yet this is merely the tip of the iceberg. I guess we can blame "mold" for all of this as well, right? And let's blame "mold" for the fact that roofing cement has been smeared all over electrical conduit, causing permanent damage! YOU WERE INDEED CONTACTED MULTIPLE TIMES, as soon as I discovered the damage you've made to my home. I texted and you did not respond. I emailed multiple times and you did not respond. I filed grievances with Better Business Bureau and with Consumer Protection and you did not respond to them, either. You were asked to respond over and over and over again, before my attorney contacted you.  As soon as you were aware I have these photos, you refused to respond. If there were damaged structures interfering with the roof installation, this should have been noted in writing, including photos, and I should have been informed. But I was never so informed.  Any former leaking was to be definitively resolved with installation of a new roof by Empire Home Improvement.  Instead of work completed in an workmanlike manner, you have left HUGE OPEN GAPS in flashing, in multiple places across my roof.  Rain, melted snow, melted ice are pouring into the ceiling structures. Water-damaged ceiling is directly below HUGE OPEN GAPS in the flashing --- horrible and indeed negligent workmanship by Empire Home Improvement. This has absolutely and literally NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO DO WITH "MOLD" OR WITH ANYTHING BUT YOUR LAUGHABLY BAD WORKMANSHIP!! You are a thoroughly dishonest person, who does not stand by the quality of his workmanship whatsoever. You were asked multiple times to make this right and you simply ignored many, many requests to respond. Sure, the old roof was leaking -- which is the reason for installing a new roof.  Any new roof is not supposed to leak, Greg.  Any new roof is supposed to PREVENT rain, melted ice, snow, cold air, etc. from having access to the inside structures of the home.  This is not and was not a "mold problem." Did mold cause huge open gaps in the flashing, through which rain, snow, ice, cold air, etc. are entering the ceiling structures?!  I'm sorry but your explanation is simply WRONG.   You have not examined the roof.  You did not inspect it when your crew was finished. If you had, then you would recognize the DAMAGE caused by your crew. Electrical conduit has been smeared and covered and damaged by roof cement -- more horrible work by your crew. That incorrectly installed drip edge is not the fault of anything but your bad workmanship. Shingles are wavy, uneven, and generally installed in a totally INCOMPETENT, NEGLIGENT MANNER.  I am owed a new roof PLUS the cost for repairing extensive purposeful DAMAGE to my home, caused by Empire Home Improvement.  We have the required proof and this will not be the forum.
