Chatgpt tells me its most likely a leak and I saw a puddle under the car before I towed it. Ian, the manager, calls me and tells me the transmission needs to be rebuilt and the fluid is fill. Cost:$3900 - $4900. Something felt off because I literally saw the puddle of fluid and I towed to another shop (Sal Transmission on Stillwell). Turns out it was just a leak. Sal sealed it and topped it off. Cost: $235 Dolphin tried to take me for $4500 so this review for anybody considering going here. Beware!

However, they pointed out to me how the body work that had been done by another shop as a result of a collision 2 years ago wasn't done correctly. The replaced the bearing, replaced my tires, and inspected the car in the same day. No more noise (but more importantly, it's safe to drive now) and the inspection is done. They did not do an alignment because it didn't need that, and they were honest about it. The manager/owner then called me the next morning to check if everything was ok. I checked in with the receptionist, Nakita, who confirmed my appointment. I explained that I needed to leave within two hours to pick up my son from school, and she acknowledged this. I asked her for an approximate cost if a transmission fluid change was needed. She replied that she had no idea. I was then referred to the office manager (a heavyset, balding Hispanic male), but when I asked him for an estimate, he gave evasive responses such as, "It might be very expensive, we have to do the complete diagnostic on your vehicle, we don't know what it might need until we do it." I simply wanted a general price range but was not given any clear information. After waiting 2.5 hours, I noticed my car had not been worked on and was still sitting untouched. I explained to the receptionist that I needed to leave and asked to pay for whatever had been done so far. She told me I could not leave until they were finished. At this point, the service manager approached me and told me: "Take your car and don't come back here. Y'all [N-words] be bugging."
