Purchased a remnant, so the price is reasonable and I was treated like a rock star client, even for such a small job! That's the kind of customer service other companies should emulate. The stone is so beautiful that I feel like I am bringing a piece of artwork into my home. I am sure that everything will continue to be exceptional with the service and quality as we move into installation. Westerner has their own shaped frames that hold flat spline so securely that the screens will tear before they get loose, and that would only happen when the screens get really old. Troy and Ron are very friendly and super knowledgeable. If you're looking for some weird or ancient metal/vinyl product, they probably know all about it, can make you something similar or give you the supplier if it still exists.

Anyway, to make a long story short, it's now been a year and I can no longer live in my home. The soot from the granite is everywhere and in my air ducts as well. My pets are orange, and I had to pull up the flooring in my house. My realtor said to sell my house and walk away from the problem I could expect a 20k hit for the disclosure.

Cindy did a beautiful job fixing them with an eye for detail and cleaned them up, too. The turn around time was quick. When we took them in, the finish on the chairs was worn and scuffed. They look really nice now and we don't have to worry about them collapsing when someone sits on them.

I was also worried about calling in a professional, wary of turning what had been a free find into an incredibly expensive one. Eventually I bit the bullet, and called Artcraft. I worked with Cindy, who is truly wonderful. She was prompt about getting back to me, and gave her own suggestions while being careful to listen to what I was asking for. She clearly understands the sentimental value of the furniture she gets, in addition to its monetary value. I was also initially worried about replacing the damaged casters and caster sleeves of the chair--she did an amazing job! She found period matches for one chair, and completely replaced the wheels of another, which had been modified at some point in its past. She was also very sharp in her assessment of the materials and time period of the pieces, which was especially helpful given these chairs' unknown history. The rates were very reasonable, and the work was completed before the date she gave. She also has a nice collection of antiques, if you're in the market for something. I have attached photos of the chairs, but they do not do the work justice. They're so lovely!
