Same situation with Vald. Driving with Lyft I had my vehicle inspected. Several months later my Hyndai Azera was having problems with the ignition switch. I went on youtube and sent Ramses the video describing it was the ignition switch rather than the starter motor. I said to him 'are you 100% sure it's only the starter motor'? His response was'yes'. Then he had my vehicle towed to Hyndai in Colma and they verified it was indeed the ignition switch. I never was billed for the starter motor Ramses installed, nor the towing that he paid for. I never heard back from him regarding his incorrect diagnosis. read more

I gave them a call and a mechanic said he'll be there in 30 minutes, I came back 45 minutes later the business is still close. Frustrating and a waste of time. Thank god for yelp. Years ago, I took my car here. They diagnosed my car and suggested my entire cooling system needed to be replaced. These guys are extremely unprofessional and they ripped me off. So, my coolant was still leaking and spraying all over my engine bay. THis was the original problem and when I had them "fix: it, the problem still persist. Turned out, all it was, was a tiny pin hole in one of the hoses. An easy $10 dollar fix, which ended up costing me $1000+. read more

Ask for Ali or Osman. They will service or repair foreign and domestic. I started taking my 2001 VW Golf 1.8T there after the free maintenance program was over. They know VW's very well. My car has 185,000 miles on it and I owe a lot of that to them. It has never broken down and I take it in for regular service. Their prices are very reasonable. My wife's 1999 Jeep Cherokee had A/C problems and Ali fixed it. Thereafter, we did all the maintenance there and it has 118,000 miles and runs like new. They also specialize in radiators and tires. I bought 4 new Continental Contitour Contacts there for the VW and also had flats repaired. They're funny guys and sometimes they invite me for tea. Good times. read more

I tried to support neighborhood business. They installed the wrong brake pads for my car The garage is a dump. No waiting area. You wait in their lunch room and you wait until all staff finish their break. These guys are very slow. Made me feel like they could care less if they had any business. Unfortuantly my daughter caught a flat on the freeway - in turn she gets a $60 USED tire charged to her. Once I spoke with the gentleman to understand why a used tire would be so expensive he got argumentative and proceeded to STOP installation on her car!?!? My childs first car, first flat tire and I am at least 30 minutes away... ...what establishment would treat a young woman like that?? POOR SERVICE and even WORSE attitude!!!! read more

Let me first start by saying that Ali is very sweet and helpful. Now, I will caution against the other mechanic who is incredibly sexist and offensive. He literally looked past me when returning my car and called my husband over to tell him about my oil leak. It is MY car, MY bill, MY business. Is this 2015 or did I warp back to the 1950s? BE CAREFUL when going to any mechanic shop im San Francisco.. It is home to mechanic scammers! I went to this shop back in 2016. To get my window fixed (as it wasn't going up/ down) and to have my head gasket replaced. Supposedly. But my car overheated a days later. This guy came off really nice but something was off & was way too concerned with my personal life rather than my f*cking CAR. Anyways immediately my window my window made a weird sound & he claimed that's how it sounds when its new so it's normal. The sound never went away. So their went $200 on my window & their went my car. DO NOT come here. Keep in mind this was my experience with ONE mechanic. Big guy, tan skin, latin. WITH facial hair. Whom i do not see in the yelp photos. My car got gave out on me days after coming here. read more

The older gentleman who works here saved me from further expenses yesterday. I experienced a flat on 101 heading northbound and was directed here by Gmaps. Although he didn't have a tire in stock to replace my worn out one, he went out of his way to have my car put on a jack and have me take the bad tire to be replaced some place else. And he only charged me $20, whereas someone else would have easily asked for $50/60 for the services offered. Will go back in need! read more

My man Ramses. The guy is class act. He fixed problems with our mini that we didn't even know. We had aamco give us an estimate, which wasn't bad. We took it to East Bay Mini... They wanted so much money for the simplest of things and missed stuff. We needed an O2 sensor and they wanted 800 dollars. They missed the bad bearings in the wheels and the bad tires. Ramses, got it fixed and got us safe and in 3 days no less. I trust him with all my vehicles. Now the BMW... He's going to have fix that next....He came all the way to Hayward to pick it up, talk about service... Better than AAA... read more

I had a great experience - one of my tires kept slowly deflating. The service was both efficient and friendly. Ramses found the nail, plugged the tire, rebalanced them - and I was back on the road. Hands down and without reservation an OUTSTANDING experience! My 1999 SAAB badly needed brakes and tires. As a "victim of the economic downturn", I had precious little to spend on the repairs. I headed to A&E hoping for the best. Fifteen minutes after dropping off the car, Ali phoned to advise me they found more wrong than I had hoped. I returned to the shop where he showed me why all four wheels actually needed work. While the original estimate was fair, reasonable, and well below what I would have expected to pay, Ali understood my dilemma, and presented me with a safe, helpful, and very generous alternative. I returned to the shop at closing time and got into conversation with Ali that went far longer than I think either of us would have expected. He has shown me a depth of character and personal integrity, I find extremely rare. And, I was a first time customer with no previous contact. One week after the repairs, the car is running great and I suspect they might have done one or two additional "quick-fixes" that I wasn't charged for, or even made aware of. Got a nail in my tire and noticed this place was conveniently located and open Saturdays. I called Saturday afternoon to confirm they'd have time to look at the tire and they said I could stop by anytime. I showed up at 4:15pm (Yelp said open until 5) and they were closed and wouldn't look at my tire even though some of the staff was still hanging out. The shop looked pretty rundown so maybe it's a good thing I didn't get my tired fixed here. read more

I went there to get my lyft inspection done. But there mechanic came to me and without even checking my car properly told me that I could fail this inspection if I didn't get my brake pad replaced from him and it will cost me $150.00..I told him I replaced them month and a half ago and I drive Uber full time but they can't be all used so fast.but then he took them out and showed me that they need to be replaced which I could clearly see that I could still drive with them for 2 more months.and I bought them on lifetime warranty if they needed to be replaced I could get a replacement without paying out of pocket and get it fixed from anywhere paying $30.00 ..Then he started taking photos of my cars license plate and brake so that he could send it to lyft.Which is totally illegal because my car is my private property no one can film or take photo off without my permission.So everyone plz be careful before you go to this RIPOFF WAREHOUSE of thugs !!!! read more
