Their team worked patiently with us to resolve the scheduling and access issues, which I truly appreciated. The inspector was thorough, knowledgeable, and took the time to clearly explain the findings and answer our questions. The inspection report was detailed, easy to understand, and extremely helpful as we made decisions about the property. I would highly recommend FOX Inspection Group to anyone needing a dependable and professional home inspection company.

This last time I was out of town for the inspection abd wasnt able to be there in person. I highly recommend being there because these guys will answer any questions you have on the spot. This last house has higher than average ceilings (the last one in Spring was only 1 story) and multiple levels so they used a drone. Which is awesome because they found a roof seam that wasnt sealed properly. The also ket me know that the property wasnt graded to provide adequate trainable. These are all very expensive future problems which would cost thousands to repair/ replace after the fact. The cost of this inspection is minimal compared to what they prevent. I drove by this morning and saw work trucks surrounding my future property making repairs. I will *always* use this company when I buy a home in the greater Houston Metro area.

Wish I had checked reviews before using them. They missed a ton of very visible and easy to spot…read moreproblems if you are trained as a home inspector. We, as buyers, did not have this expertise, thus, we paid someone to do a proper inspection for us. Note, we paid an extra $200 for a sprinkler system and pool inspection. To list a few: 1. When you turn the pool pump off, the backflow valve was broken, so the spa drained to pool level. All they had to do was turn it off for 20 minutes and note the deficiency. This was a $350 repair. 2. The pool main pump ran with about 2" of air in the top - visible problem if you know anything about pools. Leaking valve. $250 repair. 3.Two windows with the seals completely blown out, water freely flows into the widows. The blown-out seals are clearly visible. $3300 repair. 4. There was a nearly flat section of roof (graded 1.6"/12") that was covered with shingles. Shingles can NOT be used unless the grade is more than 2"/12". This section of roof had a rotten soft spot and leaked into the garage the first time it rained. $2600 repair. 5. There was a bad sprinkler valve causing a sprinkler head to endlessly seep and turn the yard into a mushy spot. $450 repair. We have been in the house 3 months and keep finding new stuff that should have been identified. I asked for a 50% refund for the inspection services that were not done properly. They said no and gave me a $100 refund for the sprinkler defect. They repeatedly informed me, their report clearly says you should check with professional pool and roof inspectors, and they do not stand behind their work. What's the point of hiring an inspector who blanketly disavows his work by pasting generic language into every report that says he isn't responsible and you should hire specialists? They miss things you would reasonably expect an inspector to find, and when you raise the issue, they deny, deflect, and defend. Very bad experience. There are tons of home inspectors out there. Find one that cares about you. Please see the response from the inspection company below to see exactly what I am talking about: 1) They state below the items listed above were in their report. I triple checked again today, and not a single one of the items listed above was in their report - their statement below is FALSE. (deny) 2) They recommend hiring someone qualified, instead of themselves (deflect) 3) They claim their inspection is visual only, and non-invasive. However, none of the items listed above require anything beyond visual inspection. No invasive diagnosis was required to see these things. (defend).

My wife and I purchased our home in Woodstream earlier this year. Unfortunately, we trusted Dave…read moreand Eve at Home Team Inspection (Humble) to guide us on our first home purchase. Despite some cracks we pointed out, Dave stated they were only esthetic and we had nothing to worry about. In fact we all sat in the living room and told him we were nervous to proceed, but he assured us he would buy this home if it were his family. This was March 30th, 2023. We closed on May 8th. By June all of the cracks we repaired came back and new ones starting appearing along with ghost doors and a front door that no longer closed properly. Upon contacting Dave he sent out "his foundation expert" Mike Saba who told us we had some settlement but nothing to worry about. After 2 weeks of trying to contact him to alert him the issues were progressing we once again called Dave. His "expert" came back out and said the same thing while never producing his reports to us backing his claims. From there we spoke with 4 foundation companies and hired a structural engineer who confirmed we have severe foundation issues. Dave and Eve told us that none of these people were experts and claimed their guy said the house is fine (still no report). Since July we have been trying to get resolution from Dave and Eve. In multiple emails they stated we had no issues, then they finally had a legal document sent stating our issues were caused by our mismanagement of a home we owned for less than 3 months. Finally they stated they would reimburse us 150% of our purchase price. We reluctantly accepted as we can't afford to hire an attorney on top of the 30k plus in damages they missed. Well they only wanted to refund us $600 dollars (our purchase price now) plus we had to sign an NDA that wouldn't allow us to share our experiences. After we expressed our intention to sign upon the removal of the NDA and correction of the refund amount they withdrew their offer altogether and told us "best of luck". I will gladly post a few of the emails and their BS settlement offer with language to hush us. Take your money elsewhere, I recommend Hedderman structural engineers in Conroe who were wonderful in getting us an actual report albeit too late to protect us. Dave and Eve can claim slander or whatever they want. I can back up every single claim made in this review including third party reports. Do NOT trust your future to this franchise.
